The Softer Side of Jungkook: Only with Jimin? | Jimin VS Hyungs | PART 1 

Let Jikook shippers ship even if you're just here to see the cute interaction between Jikook. Personally for me, I'm not fond of shipping. I actually hate shipping. I only entered BTS ships cuz it's cute to ship them like bros. Since Taekook was very very popular, I saw quite a number of Taekook analysis vids. Though some may be convincing, nothing just came off to me as real or suspicious. Most of the videos just seemed weird to me and lowkey forced. There's not much substance. I saw the Vminkook ship and found their interactions cute aaaand... I stumbled to Jikook vids where just one video captured me. A couple analysis videos cemented it. There's just so many doubtful factors within Jikook and it's always(or usually) backed by logic and not just the shipper's assumption that I usually see in other ship videos(I noticed this in Taekook. Maybe that was why I was never as invested in Taekook back then). Anyways, I ship them because of their chemistry, not just because I just think they look good together(they do but the interactions are always first) or how cute and out they treat each other(Taekook's interactions are very loud. They're a playful pair but I've seen that it's just brotherly interaction... for me at least). I didn't ship them cuz they're my biases. Kookie is actually quite low on my bias wrecker list and I only made Jimin my bias after those Jikook vids (Tae was actually gonna be my bias but... yeah. Jikook happened.) Also, as you can see, this video is a ship video, so if you're a casual and don't want to be involved in shipping, just watch the video and don't go to the comment section especially cuz Taekookers seemed pressed enough to come to this video that's obviously for Jikook(they always spam under the Jikook comments just being immature and insulting other people's ships). As you can see, they're starting fights cuz they can't take Kookie interacting with someone they consider as the 'third-wheel' of Taekook. I'm a Jikook trash but I'm also quite soft for Vmin nowadays. When I try to ship Yoonmin, it just seemed like a ship just made only because of Jimin's soft personality and Suga's bad boy/cold type. Anyways, this is why I don't support Vkookmin cuz Taekook shippers can't tolerate others and won't even let such cute interactions(even the chill Vmin ship) go and similarly, Jikook shippers respond in kind but they usually don't specifically look for other ship's videos as much as Taekookers does and they usually won't be petty enough to spam Jikook under a comment as simple as "I 💜 Taekook". This is the reason why I only support Vminkook cuz the shippers are a lot chiller and their arguments tend to be mild/a lot more chill. Aside from Jikook, I only see other ships as cute bro ships.

I think every member of BTS has a softspot for Jimin, as he has a loving personality.

I used to be full-on taekook. Ahh u won't believe hm i used to ship those two. But I've been to several group chats and saw how much hate they give Jimin! (Most of the group chats but not all) That is the TRUTH. I was scared at how toxic it was getting honestly, as an army it got very uncomfortable. And then I stumbled upon a jikook video, i told myself "yeah let's watch what they're hating on so much." I WAS A GONER since then. Jikook is so pure and brings me joy. The community of jikook shippers is also very quiet and respectful. I haven't seen any jikook shipper hating on Tae so far and I'm so happy for that. Jikook forever 🥰

I ship Jikook hella hard but what I am going to say is non ship related. I feel like in the beginning jk was shy and was cold to Jimin(like he said) and it became like and ongoing joke that he doesn’t like Jimin when in reality he loves him very much and appreciates him just like all the other hyungs. Maybe Jimin started taking the “I don’t like Jimin” joke a little seriously because jk had been doing it for like 2 years. So in that live(forgot which one) when the fan asked do you like Jimin and he answered “of course” like obviously he loves Jimin and jimin was like “you do?!”. So jk then started realizing people might me taking his joke seriously(because a lot of people do) and started being nicer and not as cold. During run era(which the live was in) he became noticeably “nicer” I guess you could say to Jimin. Then when Jimin fainted in Japan and jk had to cover his parts you could see he was very distraught like the other members. Ever since then he stopped teasing Jimin on camera(as much) because he wanted to show people he loves his Hyung. Jimin has said that he wanted to travel to jk so he could protect him and wanted to sit next to him on the rollercoaster because he was scared. Jk also called Jimin his “tiny Hyung”. The last 3 years jk is a lot softer with Jimin than the other hyungs because he sees Jimin differently. He said Jimin helped him a lot when he missed his family and that Jimin takes care of him the most so I think jk wants to show that it’s not just Jimin loving jk. It’s also jk loving Jimin . Obviously the other hyungs also take care of jk a lot as we have seen. Jk said he goes to talk to jimin when he needs help/advice and that he’s the easiest to talk to. Jk protects Jimin and calls him his tiny hyung(as I said before) so he treats him softer. I don’t know if what I’m saying makes sense I don’t know how to put it in words. This is non ship related this is just what I believe their relationship in general is as friends/brothers or whatever you want.

Jiminie is kind, loving, thoughtful and caring person, that's why all members love him and more gentle to him. He does not hesitate to show his love and care for them. Jiminie is a very selfless person. Also, they named him as King of Chemistry. Everyone is just so close to him without a bit of awkwardness.

Personally I don't believe in ships because in their lives they're just best friends who love and too comfortable with each other. I watch every member ship NAMJIN, YOONMIN, VKOOK, VMIN, NAMIN, SOPE, VHOPE, JIHOPE, TAEGI... Again they seems like normal friends but there are alot of strange thing happen between JIKOOK example GCF Tokyo and other stuff not only that but also their soft side for each other. That's really attracts me towards them if I ship anyone that would be JIKOOK. Also it's request for vkookers that if you ship vkook it's your decision and it's OKAY but plz don't spread bad words about jimin.

Dear Jikookers I would like to share my Jikook story! At the very beginning some years ago before becoming a Jikooker, I didn’t feel anything ”special” at all for either Jm or Jk. None of them were my biases or anything. I didn’t have a bias, but I really found V and RM cute. To be honest, Jk was the member that I felt the least for. Sorry to say this but I almost found Jm desperate, jealous and clingy to Taekook because he didn’t have his ”own” ship. I felt like, please just leave them alone. He seemed ”flirty” with everyone. I wasn’t into shipping and didn’t even think it could be anything more than brotherhood between the members. I had heard about ships like Taekook and Namjin and watched their videos. Namjin had great chemistry and was cute. But Taekook seemed forced and almost annoying. Both were considered the ”good looking” ones so I could see why ppl tried to make something out if it. I didn’t feel anything special for Jk, but I really liked V. Nothing seemed anything more than just the shipper’s ship. It felt more like they’re thinking: ”They are good looking, I like them together, I wish they’re a couple, gotta find the smallest thing and make it into something, even though it’s forced, in my imagination it could maybe be something but it could also be nothing at all, but STILL they must be real!”. It was not believable. I don’t say this to attack Taekookers, I just tell u how I felt regarding ships and Taekook who was the ”loudest” ship. After watching a Taekook video (I had watched some before), a Jikook video showed up for the first time. I found it funny because even though they had moments, they mis-matched and were very different, Jk didn’t seem to really like Jm so how could there possibly be something? Why was it even a ship?! I was like this is nonsense, ppl are making ship videos about all the members now. Anyway with sceptic eyes I watched ONE video, only ONE. I was shocked! How come I hadn’t noticed this before? The most non-believable ship blew me away. There were so many things that looked really suspicious and I felt omg this is more than just normal close friendship. Their chemistry, interactions, the stares, jealousy, Jk didn’t dislike Jm and Jm was actually sweet and cute, not clingy or third wheel to Taekook at all. I was so surprised that Jk was obviously jealous with Jm, not with V! Jikook was so different from the other ships and I watched some more and became a Jikooker. I totally turned around, from feeling the least for both of Jm and Jk to come to love them! The longer I was a Jikooker the more obvious it became and I liked them even more. I have to say that I also saw moments between Taekook were Jk in particular seemed jealous, but in the end he always ”came back” to Jm. Let’s always support Jikook. They way jk uses a lower (bedroom omfg) voice gives me chills, and the way he holds jimin even when pushing him away was too gentle to be really called "pushing." Notice how jk touches him on intimate parts--- his waist, his lower back as if it's normal and usual for him to do that... And jimin looks so comfortable with it, too. Not to mention how soft jk's gaze, and he always does that smile whenever he's flustered with whatever Jimin's doing... Pls check other videos... Jk only does that small smile with jimin only... Jungkook does treat Jimin differently like he is fragile glass that needs to be protected at all costs. What I think is he treats him like that because (from what I've seen) Jimin is the hardest on himself, he has issues with his weight and feeling very insecure and if he "messed" (I put air quotes because when he "messes" up it is never a big thing yeah a voice crack but that happens to everyone, nobody is perfect) than he feels like he dissapointed Army, yes I know they are all like that but I feel like Jimin has got it real bad (I think the whole maknae line does) so to me that is why Jungkook treats him like that because Jimin is really fragile. This is just one of many differences people either don't see or don't want to see. There is such an obvious difference and I haven't seen any other videos like this where it shows the difference, and there are endless examples that could be shown like this. Just yesterday at the airport when JK put his arm around V's neck you would've thought they'd kissed, but even in the way he put his arm around his neck, there was a difference. Also context...it was after V had filmed that fan because he was frustrated and JK was trying to calm him down. With the rest of them he rests his arm and his hand kind of hangs but with JM his hand holds onto his arm and rubs it or squeezes it or pulls him closer. One way is clearly bro/friend and the other is more intimate. Like I said, there are endless examples, and it is the difference in how they touch, how long they touch, the places they touch, and the settings they touch in, like rubbing a back, ear, neck, in the middle of an interview as if it's just natural. Those things don't happen with anyone but them. You'd never see either one of them just start caressing another members ear or rubbing their back during an interview. Or what about the constant back hugs, swaying to the music, etc for minutes at a time? It doesn't happen. This is just about touch! There's other areas where there's also a clear difference like verbal/nonverbal, GCF, dress, time together, etc. Please make more of these!!!

*Soft hours officially open* I was a Yoonmin shipper upon entering the fandom. After watching BTS funny moments, some earlier Run and Gayo episodes, and behin the scenes, I notice the chemistry behind Jikook. 2013-2014 Jikook was so cute. I liked their playfulness. But then 2015 Jikook hit me hard with the subtle glances. Sheet. Photoshoots/videos of their promotions? Sheet the chemistry IS THERE. And 2017 Jikook? AGGRESSIVE FEELINGS. What really made me ship them HARD was GCF in Tokyo. I was already shipping Jikook but what I really remember was being HURT watching GCF T because Jimin's SMILE throughoutthe video ESPECIALLY THE TEACUP SCENE made me REALLY shy. The cinematography (the way JK made it soooo soft and something that just reminds me of HOME) UGH it was like I was invading something only *exclusively THEIRS*. And then it hit me that Jeongguk really loves Jimin, whatever love you all like to think. Shipping Jikook is really an experience. You have other shippers bashing Jikook, Jikook themselves attacking you for being LOUD AF or SUBTLE AF BUT LOUD AF AT THE SAME TIME, members being /done/ with them, etc Wow what a beautiful road. I have stanned alot of groups, and I loved watching "ship" videos of each members chemistry with eachother (from other groups) because I admire whatever the members have with eachother. I honestly haven't shipped any idol (romantically) cause all I see is just platonic love regardless I still loved watching their Chemistry, I only started getting into bts and jikook caught my eye, theres just something about them two that sparkles, I can't explain theyre chemistry but you can really tell that both of them are really really close. I don't ship jikook just because their one of the most touchy duo in bts. If I see two people being touchy, I don't really assume anything, I don't think too much of it, I just see two really Close people. But jikook man, the way they act around eachother, the way they talk with eachother and the way they look at eachother just melts my heart, they are probably the first duo that I have ever shipped of being a kpop fan. I don't know what kind of relationship they both have with eachother, whatever it is romantic or platonic, id still love them regardless I don't care if you don't like them, but you can't deny that they're both really close and there's just something special between their bond.

I'm agree with you. I noticed this side of Jungkook since the first time I ship JIKOOK. Before 2015, jungkook mostly acted like reject jimin but I can see that it's not being rejected in bad way. Every member have a soft spot for Jimin tho, but idk why I feel jungkook did it in romantic way?
