You might be asking God for things that you’re not ready to receive, just as the soil in Mark Chapter 4 had to be ready to receive the seed.
Soil that receives the Word requires tending and softening. It can’t be hard or cracked to produce what’s in the seed. The seed needs to get deep if it’s going to grow and bring fruit. Sometimes you’re the sower, responsibly spreading the seed in good soil and allowing God to give the increase. Wherever you are in the cycle, pray for God’s will to do be done.
