"erm actually the earth is flat and you guys are wrong. also i predict that aliens will invade tomorrow despite literally not having the slightest reason to invade us in the first place"
My eyes must be built different then bc I would normally look at the sun *not during an eclipse* as a child and the worst thing that happened was i need to get glasses for near sightedness and that was like 4 years ago. As a kid I didn’t know the sun could damage your eyesight but i guess 4 years later i got glasses.(I don’t know if my parents had something wrong with their eyes because I am adopted)
This is peak! I don't think I've laughed this hard in a while. I really hope you do do more of these videos. Also, the internet could definitely be gaslighting me with the eclipse too. I was in a classroom with no windows working on a project at the time of the eclipse. Because I can't seem to get my work done unless I have nothing that could possibly distract me.
It didn't happen in the UK at all- not completely at least. It's all dependent on angles and stuff so it didn't happen fully here. Some places still had a partial eclipse by thats really not that cool.
Darth Vader was about to obliterate our planet but then the sun got in his eyes and he went and avoided it before flying away ready to plan another attack
@@HyperNova808 Yep. 2028, 2030, 2037, and 2038. 2028 is going right over Sydney, 2030 about 400km north of Adelaide, 2037 about 400km north of Perth and brushing south Brisbane, and 2038 about 200km north of Adelaide and travelling in between Melbourne and Canberra.
"I am perfectly happy not knowing any better and sleeping at night. There's a term for that, and I don't know what it's called, either like willful ignorance or... stupidity? *wheeze*" this is the best quote of the video change my mind
@AliField18On Danno's shorts channel i've been requesting him to make a video on bfdi for 180+ days. I decided to also start doing it here. So that's it
Great video, as always, Danno! I always love your long forms, as I do everything you make! It was *so* cloudy with me! The whole sky was covered in a cloud blanket. I can't believe that people stared at the eclipse. The increase in accidents makes sense. 👀😬☁️
I'd love to see more long-form of you chatting! Gives me a nice change of pace from my other long-form content creators, which is primarily gaming! So you have my full support to do random long-form videos on... whatever you want! I'd also love to see you reacting to people who reacted to Riggy/your content, or fan animations, honestly! But up to you :)
I was on a field trip to Dollywood at the time it happened, the solar eclipse wasn't anything special. It was cloudy and we couldn't see anything. The only thing that was good about it is we didn't have to wait in any of the lines.
I also missed the eclipse because the SECOND it started the teachers were treating it like THE END OF THE WORLD. AND ONE OF THEM PULLED OUT BLINDS AND COVERED THE WINDOWS LIKE WHAT
My middle school went out to see the solar eclipse and left at nine. WE GOT AT THE PLACE AT 3:30, which if you don't know is the time of totality. Speaking of totality, we didn't even get to see full totality and were just left with a little speck of the sun before it just grew in size again. Then, we had the smart idea to go to a planetarium to learn about how other cultures thought about solar eclipses. It was a cool presentation, although it took more than triple the time it would normally take to get there, as we moved at a blazing 3/7 of a mile per hour. We left the planetarium at around 7:30, having had dinner. The middle school was split up into different buses, and I was on bus 1 out of 3. Buses 2 and 3 went a similar direction, but our bus took a different route. With standstill traffic, it ended up taking over 10 HOURS to get back to the school, and we got back just before 6 AM. We did have the day off after that, but overall, with all of the traffic, the trip was not worth it in my opinion.
I remember on the day of the solar eclipse there was this group of girls talking about how they saw this TikTok about how the solar eclipse was gonna make bigfoot come back... 💀 And they actually seemed to be serious about it, its gotten to the point where bigfoot coming back becuase of the solar eclipse has become an inside joke between me and my friends...
“Guys what if we convinced everyone the thing in front of the sun was the moon, and then it wasn’t. And it was actually Caseoh” “WOW BOB THAT’S SMART BECAUSE CASEOH PLANS ON STANDING UP SOON”
They cancelled school where I am so they wouldn’t be liable for people looking DIRECTLY AT THE SUN. We don’t even live near the path of totality. I honestly grew up thinking that the sun became some kinda “When Day Breaks” thing in an eclipse , and I suppose that’s a good thing now.
@@EddyLemus-f3fyall thought the moon was gonna stop and explode in the middle of the sky, because your Christian’s and think the rapture is gonna happen any day now, but yall started saying that in (insert when Jesus died) and it hasn’t happened
It could potentially have actually happened. Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”
I remember mom told me that "The entire world will lose internet access as soon as the eclipse happens" and I don't think it was true, just a slight chance💀
Compared to the rest of the world, it's like North America has an eclipse every other weekend. The first time I am going to see one is 2075, and that won't even be a total eclipse
What!? I thought you were gonna wait until Toon Turf released to work on any other projects?! I’m just kidding lol, it’s fun that you are actually still uploading on this channel!
I was in traffic on the way back from the area of totality, 14 hours of just chaos. We took an exit because our gps told us it was faster, but it turns out everyone's gps said the same thing. There were 6 accidents that we saw untill we found a motel. 10/10 Would recommend
I wasnt told as a kid to not stare at an eclipse. I was today years old when i learned this. It makes sense how it would still mess up your eyes, it just would also make sense that a giant rock covering the sun could minimize the harm lol
If I'm bored, I would search up "conspiracy theorys" and grab popcorn, these conspiracies are really fun to watch and the guy explaining it thinks it's actually real 😂😂😂😂
