The Solemnity of the Ascension (Sunday Homily from May 24, 2020) 

This amazing homily has such relevance to me! When my beloved husband went home to God in Jan 2020; it was such a beautiful death, and as I lay there holding him, I suddenly realized (and spoke the words), that before he could blink an eye, we would be together again with God! This has given me such a deep understanding of “time” as a construct of earth, and a wonderful, spiritual belief of heaven our home! I’m 80 years young, healthy but look forward to life after this valley of tears. Thank you for continuing the daily mass, May God continue to Bless you all at “Word on Fire”! 🇨🇦✝️❤️👏💐

An amazing feast and Solemnity that is so often not appreciated. Blessed be our Risen Messiah and Lord Ascended and RULING the universe.

That definition of the Mass was beautiful. I wrote it down and will think of it before every Mass from now on.

Bishop Barron, you made me think of bilocation. In Mathematics, Quantum mechanics it's possible to show one object occupying two spaces simultaneously. I think they've been able to show that in subatomic levels of experimentation a long time ago early 1900s late 1800s. It's rapid fast movements. Somehow, I think of such things during consecration of the bread and wine to becoming the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in our time and space. It's awesome. Thank you.

I had to notate this whole homily. I never saw the ascension in this light. It was a mind bender and just beautiful. Thank you for this incredible insight into the workings of our Faith.

Bishop....who is paying you and why?

They multiply Priests and saints with a sullen face, perform miracles, cast out demons. Jesus said the tree is known by its fruit.
