Really fun but also scary when he's on the ground and just pops up

I found out Cassidy is kind of a hard counter to this character. He has longer range and his nade completely locks out their abilities.

I dunno what it is, but they feel ok how they are. First glance things that come to my mind that can be tuned are Ult charge increase and Shield gain on ability hits instead of just using them

I wonder what happens when Venture digs under the ground and goes beneath a junkrat or hog trap

yes distance is the key and you have to tp out if they dash on you. but then go back in and waste venture’s util.

it is near impossible to beat them in a fair 1v1 as a dive hero

yea for sure, its an in the moment type of thing. I only played 3 games against em and thats not enough to even see how to fully play against them and also tho, venture players dont know the full potential either so time will tell really. but they also have like...every passive and ability in the game so i wonder how it will work out

@@The_Rilo I think the fact that they're 250HP might compensate the shield gain, their burrow is slow af you can't really use it as an escape like translocator plus it's on a 8 second cooldown, so you either save the drill or have to hard engage and get a kill to get out alive. They're not like DPS Doomfist as in being able to use two abilities on a 1v1 then have a spare one to flee, you either soft engage or fully commit to an elim and risk dying; I think you need to treat Venture like Sombra, a risk taker dps that can commit differently to certain situations, so you either poke them to mess up their engages or play together if your team, I think what makes them look strong is looking at them like a soldier and stuff

yea that sheild is crazy. i see people comparing it to mei and reaper but mei can’t move and venture can. and reaper has to hit a shot to heal. venture can just spam 2 abilities back to back and get over 300+ health. if they were a melee/ close range hero i would understand but they have mid range and high mobility. But i know that overwatch does op releases on purpose for the fun but i wonder what they’ll do later.

Yea its kinda tough to learn atm, you need to play right out of the the splash damage range and NEVER in melee range. its just some adjusting to get used to.

yea they are def fun and unique. I do love that it’s not a copy of anyone else on the roster. I have though of grav and then venture dives under and just jumps out on top of everyone stuck inside 😂

Yea they arent as overtuned like Sojo release but they have every single passive and ability you can think of 💀 I know they have a tactic to make everyone super powerful on release cause we DO NOT want another lifeweaver incident lol. Im excited to see what next season has to offer.

@@Luca-kw9tt EMP does nothing. shuts down skills for 2 secs. and now it can't even stop half of the Ults. so why not just get rid of it and change it to just an AOE Virus. I mean Genji Blade can kill the whole team in 1 Ult. but Sombra having an AOE Virus is OP. Whatever we all know will never happen just wishful thinking. you all have a great one.

Yea they are but it doesnt have the echo effect sometimes like others have, it might be a bug. i do like that they have each sound play when they use the shockwave so you know its coming

Well i think its just a little too much right now. Not as drastic as like Sojo release, but venture does have like so many passives and abilities that people have yet to learn and how to position, time will tell when people learn the full potential.

yeah but they can immediately close the gap between them and the enemy supports and go after you so you are basically forced to either kill them first or have them be busy with something both of those situations are unlikely

Yep, if venture is a direct counter to sombra than good, Heros totally busted if you know what you're doing, and she was strong back in ow1 and if you look at her kit, it's been power crept in every way possible, she used to have a cd cycle you could track and while hack had a longer duration, all she needs to do is hack you mid movement ability so it barely matters making the million things she got in exchange, not worth it and in my opinion is now the most overtuned hero in the game 😂 But at least the rework made her more fun to play so I dont mind swapping to diff them now but if venture does counter sombra I maybe found a replacement.

@@SandlerShephord sombra is not even close to being overtuned she relies so much on enemy mistakes that if the enemy team actually groups up you can't get anything done alone if ur tank is bad the enemy team can go after you easily all you get to do during those times is spam virus from long range I'm sorry if you just don't know how to deal with sombra besides counterswapping but she is definitly not as good as you think

@@engineergaming3830 maybe in masters and gm, but I'm diamond and all I play is echo and sombra, with some other heros here and there but its echo because shes fun and sombra because everything else lol

@@engineergaming3830 just hack the right people and isolate people, it's the same as tracer or echo, that problem is a problem with anyone looking to flank and you solve that problem the same way on other flanks so its not some new issue that sombra has encountered lol like I dont have the energy to master tracer and sombra is just easier tracer but I do enjoy playing tracer just its 10x harder for the same kinda value in alot if not most situations i find. But I guess maybe at the very top tracer out does sombra?

Yea im all for variety and more heros that can deal with others, of course in the moment im going to say stuff like "venture counters me so hard"...well duh 😂 I also like the rework, its been much more fun with tp...stealth kinda gets on my nerves sometimes tho

Idk, venture has every thing...sombra can just virus kill or emp, so just normal stuff. Venture has the mobility and invulnerability like sombra, but then venture has splash damage and range to spy check. These ventures just arent good yet im telling you 😭
