Baby Deep you first prepare stew then pour a reasonable amount of uncooked rice into it then add some reasonable amount of water.....the stew gives it that orangish-reddish colour....plus it is so yummy😋😋

I don't know if anyone else ever did this. When I was younger whenever we would eat my cousins and brother(older than me) would always finish their food first and would look at me and start singing a song in our native language. They would sing it in the saddest way that I couldn't resist but give them some my food by some I mean they would take it all. Just thought I'd share that.

***** Well no. Need I remind you I was under the age of ten. Like I said they would sing the song in such a sad way that even after I said no I would feel the need to share my food. We were all young, the whole thing was playful. Plus it's not like they left me in hunger. We are all grown now so we no longer do that. I miss little things like that now, being that I live in the states and most my cousins live in Kenya. I no longer have the pleasure of seeing them often and having childish fun.

This is SOOO on point: I remember my sister would do that to me ALL the time. As I'm going to get some attieke poisson or other dish, I'll ask her very clearly in loud audible voice: "do you want some?" She'd say "no" and then try to be all up on my plate when I'm eating.
