Hey everybody, quick update here - for brand new players, I definitely think Phoenix Squad with Captain Rex is the way to go as a first team! I don’t think it’s good to upload a different farming guide for every change, but my next one will feature Phoenix early on again, as CRex makes it an amazing team, and not just an early game tool. Make sure to pick them up!
I started farming pheonix way back before hera moved out of the cantina, she is the only one I need to 7 star now, she slow though haha. Where would rex fit into the resource management for farming? He would be high priority?
Just few questions about the imperial trooper squad. Do i Use starck Or Range trooper? Which one is better? Depends it on the Progress? And do i Switch the lead to piett? Ty for your content BTW.
For Pheonix I have Hera, Kanan, Chopper and Ezra. Would you still recommend getting CRex or should I get Zeb or Sabine? (By the way I'm a level 48 returning player so I'm still getting used to the grind)
@@ultraseis DEFINITELY get Rex, he makes the team a legit awesome team rather than just a noob team. Chopper is great, Kanaan and Sabine are my 4th and 5th late game but early you can have either Ezra or Zeb 5th instead of Sabine

For the past 2 months I`ve checked various f2p farm guides and this one is the most complete and efficient I`ve seen so far, thank you very much, hope this one will help a lot of new players or those who seek for knowledge!
I love this guide, putting some instant core-teams in long term grinds is just perfect. I'm working toward Executor now and took some times off the grind for Ewoks and built a full cls team first, and it really pays off! It's amazing how you as an endgame player can think from our new players' angle!
Definitely the best current guide out right now, great quality and I love the fact that its a bit more flexible in choosing which galactic legend to go far. Amazing stuff and probably the guide I will be transitioning to as a f2p early game player.

Just returned to the game after a massive hiatus of years away, and took one look at my account and thought, I'm just going to start again and relearn it as a new F2P character. Stumbled across this guide over the weekend, and I'm already level 30 and well on my way to forming the building blocks of the first couple of teams. Thanks so much for this, you earnt a sub today :)
I think a valuable addition to the farming guide is the putting the gear you want to bring that character to once you get them. (or relic levels). That would take a lot of the guessing game out of it. People don't farm their characters to decent relics once they get them. Myself included which I know isn't wise.
Good suggestion, but hard to incorporate fully in the guide I think since it’s just about unlocks in that section - I have some other videos on good targets for characters and will probably make more
I think the new player path has become a lot less linear than it used to be with the addition of ROTE and now the change to farming Phoenix, so having more information out there for new players to consider is great. I only have two minor things I want to comment on really, which is your suggested comps for BH and IT. I'd recommend Starck over Gideon for IT as he doubles as a SEE requirement and he makes the Assault Battles a little easier to complete at lower gear levels compared to Gideon. The other is that I would recommend Dengar over Jango for the BH squad. Same deal really, he doubles as an Executor requirement whereas JMK is not a farm most new players should be considering for a couple of years probably. Other than that, excellent content as always. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, appreciate it! I do think Starck is a great option, but I just think Gideon has so much value as an early game character. Dengar over Jango isn't terrible, but I love Jango because he makes Padme unlock way easier, and Executor is far off anyway at that point. Thanks again!

I’ve started a new challenge account: I must do as much as I can, year by year. I’m limited to the starting roster, plus a few additions. The goal was to feel how the game was way back in the day. Edit: unfortunately, I abandoned the account. It’s just too restrictive and takes out all the fun in the game. I found myself actively dreading hopping on it.
@@songeta so far, it’s quite fun, biggest struggles are that I will not be able to access ships (unless I decide to allow myself 2016 units), and I have no DS team. On the bright side tho, a lot of reqs for early events (palpatine, Yoda, R2, CLS) i can work on right now.
If you want to be a good contributor to your guild, you can start farming Inquisitors pretty early since the Grand Inquisitor event will be permanently in the Journey Guide later this month. Inquisitors are all accelerated and while their team may start off subpar, once you get Grand Inquisitor, the team becomes monstrous, especially in TW. While he may drop off in later GAC brackets, he can do a multitude of things for you in Bronzium-Aurodium. While he shouldn't be an early priority, once you reach a certain level in GP and your guild also reaches a certain GP they may start heavily prioritizing Inquisitors (speaking from experience here). And, if you have R7 Inquisitors, you have a good chance getting into better guilds (which increases resource output) because of you being Reva ready.
This is such a great farming guide mate, well laid out and flows well. a lot of these farming guides just chuck everything at you at once and they seem daunting. Great vid mate, keep up the good work!
your guide can be more perfect if you can help people prepare for proving grounds; for example, SEE and Malak farms prior to 4 million can help you start beating Malgus stage in proving grounds; I'm just hit 4 million with executor and almost SLKR (no Malak) and I have no teams which can beat Malgus stage

unfortunately for myself, I started the game right before hera got moved and all these other changes were made so I started with the previous guide and so i have phoenix all 7* except hera who's still only at 5

Question: Should I complete all light/dark side battles cantina ships and mods before thinking about journeys or not ( currently struggling on ships but others are done)
So like . . . Yuo make gearing up 20 characters to gear 8 before level 85 sound easy but . . . One has to be more focused nowadays in swgoh. When you are little it is really hard to get people to gear 8, I was around level 60 when y first one got their. After that they started coming faster but not fast enough to unlock all of these recommended characters. Also . . . You make it sound like you can get executor really early but, you will be 2mil at least before you get it unless you really focus on it. So like, maybe (Respectifully) you should make a new account and follow thisguide and just see how it works. I mean no offense and think that this is still a solid guide, but it needs to be a bit more focused. Still a good vid, keep up the good work!
You really think this one is less focused than the other one? I mean, I see your points but just because journey guide characters/ships are number 1-10 doesn't mean I expect that to happen bing-bang-boom. All of this takes a long time, and Exec should be done under a year still - which you should hit 2 mil by as well
So I guess I'm in a terrible fleet arena because at a little over a year everyone has executor and profundity that is in the top 60ish so . . . Maybe I just got put with some whales? Like, getting executor would only put me in around 50th place, not first. Until now I though all fleet arenas where like mine in that the top was all profundity but is that not true? The last one was just as focused but I had not put any thought into f2p guides because that was the first I ever watched. I think yours is still solid but should be more like: Here are three different ways to go that are focused, one focusing on different key factions instead of goi g for everything at once? Thing is I. So s all and inexperienced that I feel like I'm being arrogant to correct a bigger player so I just don't know.
His point is that the first 3-4 months (basically up to 85), you’re only going to have enough credits/gear for like 2 squads. Edit: this guide is more for after lvl 85/ “core” team-ish - nonetheless, love the content! Keep up the great work!

In the Resource Management: Energy, do you recommend getting each character to 7 stars before moving to the next? This game is so overwhelming to a new player like myself so I really appreciate this video in comparison to others I’ve seen!
It's hard to say for every character, but generally I would keep hitting a node until the character is 7 stars. It takes a while though, so if you need to switch off then do it. Try not to get overwhelmed, I know it's a lot!
I have an extremely new account but I was able to get into a guild with a handful of good players so we do sith raid and tb easily farming up all the currencies easily farming up the characters.
You can use 6 star padme, qgj to super charge this roster. You wait till after executor to finish padme omitting the geos entirely. Saving you a shit ton of zetas. Considering the fleet meta progression and this is a f2p roster do we really want malevolence at all? Anakin Vader bosk with hyper drive will dominate fleets, with the option of going straight into the negotiator. by the time we finish executor we will have negotiator, miny sith empire fleet, and M falcon home one. And now you can afford to get sith triumvirate because that team works with two zetas in bronzium.
You won’t need the extra fleets right away but you work on your empire and rebel fleets while finishing jkl reqs. You finish jkl with 4 fleets. Now that cal is out you have that tech option as well. You can hit chromium with enough back up teams. You put traya on your bottom front wall and shit like GG and Scoundrels on your fleet wall to steal banners. Then have like iden troopers wampa shaak clones, Jedis, sana, and just fucking crush on offense. But yeah this build is pretty solid.
One of my struggles is that, while my account is old (2017), and I was only level 75, I took a break until early 2023. Now, at 1.4 million GP, I have no hope of placing high enough in my fleet arena to get crystals.
@@lawrenceethan1675 definitely start over at level 80 with a multiple year break - you will get into a newer fleet shard that is easier to get crystals in. Unless you check your current fleet shard and it likely completely inactive
I have a main padme Team with r2d2, Farming Bounty Hunters and requirements for beskar Mando and JKR, do I need to go for executor, but rather straight for Jabba over JKL?
Im 21 days in and just realizes ive wasted my time farming phoenix team. Any tips for me ? Im lvl 52 with 5 stars phoenix on all with ezra on 6 and hera hard stuck at 4*..also strictly f2p
Hey! Definitely not a complete waste. Keep slow farming Hera to 5 stars so you can get Thrawn and palpatine unlocked, but you can move on to other squads as well. The game is a marathon and you will still be able to make great progress!
I know this is a bit old, but do you recommend to gear up a lot my geonosians? or should I go with the mininum to unlock padme? I would assume I should really gear them up so the ships are good too but Im not sure
New player here, imo these farming guides are helpful but honestly the way ppl are explaning them is really for ppl who already understand the game and have an idea of what and where these priority characters are. Also like the actual order of per character farm is hard to understand for new players like me. I dont know who among those early farms i should get first that wont stunt my progress and how far along the light,dark,fleet battles we should get to farm these characters. Efficiently where we should chill to just farm them or should we be pushing progress in these battles daily etc.
I get what you mean - but things like this are really more for *farming* specifically and not playing in general. That said, for priority I did go pretty in-depth on which characters to get, in which order, with what resource. As far as the actual battles, when you're starting out and getting lots of energy from leveling up, it's best to try and push the battles as far as you can with the characters you build up. Try to minimize investment into characters not shown in the guides
quick question, as a hyperdrive player should I focus on relicing the executor reqs in order to get it faster and then go back to the others to relic or just relic characters as I finish farming them?
Up to you! Wouldn't be a bad idea - I would probably use relic mats for those characters but still try to get other squads to useable levels, like g11 or g12
my account has around 6 months, and i only got first order and empire as good teams because i was rushing for SLKR, but im not that close to him, my only relic rn is kylo ren unmasked and i dont have finalizer yet. should i just shift to executor and focus on getting the first legendary characters you mentioned or keep going for slkr? btw nice guide, im starting a new account following this!

Within one resource group, yes! Old Ben is better than farmboy luke, and as a Jedi and Rebel he can be used to help unlock yoda and palpatine, so it would be better to finish him in Cantina before getting farmboy luke
I am a Beginner which is going on my 7th week into the game. It is a good thing that you didn’t follow Songeta Mid-2023 Guide. I tried following Songeta Mid-2023 Guide and it was utterly horrible. The Guide was bad because the game made drastic changes. The truth is Songeta made a Guide based on the current state of the game at the time of his post. Songeta made a guide to best of his ability with information provided to him at the time. Unfortunately, Songeta Mid-Guide for 2023 didn’t age well. It’s not Songeta fault. Songeta has no control of what the games developers do. The Developers released a Godlike hero “Captian Rex” who help turn Phoenix into power house team. Songeta simply couldn’t have know the game would do the above. The Developers announced they are changing the Raids. Songeta can’t predict the future. Songeta recommendation to get Jedi Knight Revan sooner + Jabba for better Raid performance was simply done under the assumption the status quo of the raids would remain the same. The Developers released Light Speed Bundles. Again, If Songeta had the information, he could of told people to skip everything and build Finalizer to unlock SLKR. Or He could of told people to farm Visa Mar + Palpatine to make crazy Starkiller team. Hindsight is 20/20 -------------- The Best Songeta Guide is the one Songeta made at the beginning of this year. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qaf-ZB9Tmj0.html He made it like in January of 2023. Some of the icons are no longer right due to game making changes. Some of his statements no longer apply due to Captain Rex transforming the team into power house. However, the team set ups he has isn’t bad. - Kanan + Ezra are now on same Cantina NODE so you can farm them together. - The Cantina Currency you get from farming Kanan + Ezra will let you buy Chopper from Store. - Than you can use Galactic Currency to buy Zeb from Store. All you need at that point is Hera, Sabrina, & Captian Rex. All 3 of them are on Hard Mode Energy NODES which take longer to farm. My recommendation is to SIM farm Hera 5 times. Than spend 25 gems to refresh her NODE to SIM farm her another 5 times. This will help speed up her 7 staring process. My recommendation is to Slow SIM farm Sabrina + Captian Rex in the back ground. You will not use Sabrina or Captian Rex to unlock Palpatine or Thrawn. You will use the other characters because they will reach 7 star way faster. The reason you build Sabrina & Captian Rex is because eventually they will reach 7 star. When they do reach 7 star, you will add them to your Phoenix team. Your Phoenix team will transform into a power house team. It will completely destroy Light Side Campaign and if your MOD’s are good enough. It will destroy other players in PVP as well. You need a Light Side team strong enough to destroy all of Light Side Campaign. It helps you get access to better characters + better gears. ------------- To unlock Yoda, I used: - Mace - Qui Gon Jin - Old Ben - Kanan - Ezra After you finish farming Kanan + Ezra with Catina Energy + Buying Chopper, you will do same thing again. The only difference is you will farm Old Ben with Catina Energy + Buy Qui-Gon Jin with Catina Currency. Than you will buy Mace from Squad Store. lvl 80 - Gear 8 - It was super easy win. I won it on my 1st try. -------------- Another unlock the Phoenix team helps with is the Chimaera. Songeta does talk about it in the video. Songeta put it on Second Page to separate the Characters stuff vs. Ship stuff Hera & Sabrina share NODES with the Phoenix Ships. You will begin to get there Ships built up as you build up Phoenix team. I just wanted to mention the Phoenix Ships did help me reach Rank #10 in my Fleet Arena. I made a Phoenix Rebel Air Team: Capital Ship - Ackbar (Home One) - Bigs - Phantom 2 - Ghost I put Wedge in reinforcements. When I got higher stars, I added in Slave 1. To reach Rank #10 - I did 3 things. I made Ackbar Gear 12: It helped my Capital Ship moved before enemy Capital Ship. It gave me the initiative. I made Bigs Gear 12 - Bigs ship is TANK When you boost his gear to 12, you make my Bigs Ship an Obnoxious, Outrageous Tank. If the enemy doesn’t have a built up Attacker Ship, Bigs Ship will completely Wall them. Bigs Ship has single handily won me many battles. I made Wedge Gear 12 - Wedge ship does crazy Damage. Wedge ship helped me Break thru enemy Tank Walls. In the early game Fleet meta, you will see 3 very powerful/popular Tanks. - Sun Fac (They run him with other Geo’s + Tie Silencer + Tarkin) - Bigs (They run him with other Rebels + Ackbar) - Clone Sgt. (They run him with other Galactic Republic + Mace) Oh, Yeah! That’s the power of Fleets! -------------- To unlock R2D2, I am currently using: - Emperor Palpatine - Vader - Thrawn - Tarkin - Royal Guard This is were my account Progress is at currently. I am on like step 4 of Songeta January Guide, but I did do few altercations. I think when people get close to doing R2D2. They should be very close to having Vader 7 Star. They might even have Vader 7 Star like me so yeah I would add him into the team. Songeta didn’t mention Royal Guard in his video. I’m not sure why not. Maybe, he thought Royal Guard was tough character to get. Royal Guard is on 5-F of Dark side mode. I don’t know. Personally, I like Royal Guard because he has a Passive Ability which can save your teams Bacon. If you fight an enemy team faster vs. your team, They will attack you. Most times after they hit you, they will continue hitting you to finish you off. You will be completely dead with out ever having a turn. This little Passive move + a very Tanky Royal Guard can save you! It can give you the chance to have a turn and make a come back victory. In addition, RG is a pilot. Palpatine + RG are both pilots to the Emperor Shuttle. The Emperor Shuttle is a great ship from what people have told me Furthermore, RG is a requirement for GL Sith Eternal Emperor. You will need him! This 1 little Character (RG) is checking so many boxes. It’s amazing really. -------------- The real question will be who do I go for next? Songeta Guide recommends CLS -> Padme -> Bounty Hunters. Songeta Guide recommendation is pretty good. It’s not bad at all to go for those Characters next. I am just so indecisive on who to go for next. I think my long term plan is to get SEE. Veers, Piett, & Colonel Stark are requirements for SEE. Those characters could make a great Imperial Trooper team. Songeta older Guide doesn’t show Imperial Troopers in the top 8 teams. Songeta newer Guide does show Imperial Trooper with in the top 8 teams. Also, I need Count Dooku for SEE. I got to figure out a way to mix Count Dooku into Padme unlocking team. Also, The Executor has some overlap with SEE. The Bounty Hunters are needed for the Executor. In addition, The Bounty Hunters can unlock Han’s M. Falcon which will be a great addition on Home One Rebel Air team. Unlocking the Falcon can be amazing in its own right! The Journey path is so intertwined and it synergies so well. I feel like I am on the verge of the best Journey Path ever!
Mostly! Just take inventory of what you have and don't have, and work on what you need. Probably start farming the bounty hunter ships earlier is the main thing
Just picked the game up after several years away (I dipped right as the first GLs were introduced for unrelated reasons) and I'm interested in soliciting some advice. When first playing through the game, I followed what ended up being your journey guide more or less to a T with some slight modifications - I started with Phoenix into Thrawn, then went after Palpatine, CLS, Yoda, and Jedi Revan. I picked up Padme and I'm currently on my way towards completing Chewie and the Falcon with all the BH from the Chewie event. However, I'm interested in trying a different route towards the top-tier content - I'm a big Andor fan and wanted an excuse to use him, and thought that since Profundity is so cracked and JML is really strong, I could route in that direction. Right now, my tentative plan is Chewie + Falcon -> C3PO -> JKL -> BB8 -> Training Rey -> JML, farming Profundity on the side since I know that GL farms tend to take a while. Is there anything about that path that you'd change? Do you think that I'm shooting myself in the foot deciding to skip Executor and Jabba? I'm also pretty close to unlocking Darth Revan and Malak because of farming I did before I quit, when would be an appropriate time to dip back into that event to unlock him do you think? And on that same note, since I played before they were in the game, do you think that it's worth dipping back to farm and gear up Mando + Greef Karga for my Bounty Hunter squad when I'm not gunning for Jabba? Appreciate any tips you've got for me!
That’s a good plan! Skipping executor hurts more than Jabba, but if you for for profundity during that time you are just fine. I think DR and Malak are worth the sojourn too. JML leads into Jabba great! Good luck!
Yeah I have some typos - hopefully by then new players will be looking in-game at requirements for GL's lol! Ewoks are worse, they are terrible. Technically a fully loaded ewok team could beat a Phoenix team in GAC with their omi, but they are terrible value
Hey! Thank you for the guide man. I'm a returnie and it helped me a lot to understand the new stuff. There is just one thing on my mind. I'm not a native English speaker so I hope I can express myself. In the journey, should I farm the characters to 7* each or should I farm them just enough to unlock the journey characters. For example to unlock Yoda, should I farm Mace, General Kenobi, Old-Ben etc. to 7* and fully farm GM Yoda before starting to farm Emperor Palpatine or should I farm them to 5* each, just enough to unlock Yoda and leaving him at 5 * then start Emperor Palpatine?
Hi! Thanks so much! Glad you came back. I would recommend that you keep farming characters until 7 stars, but if you need to work on something else after unlocking a legendary at 5 stars, you can do that without worrying. Hope that helps!
Lol not really - he is listed in the priority order for currency farming and I talk about him on the omicron page. I tried to make it clear towards the beginning that there is a lot to talk about and the journey guide farming order is not the whole guide
What star and gear level do you recommend taking geos up to? I'm a returning player who left in 2019 before geo tb and am currently not part of a guild who does geo tb. I have 3.5 million gp
Honestly you can keep them pretty low for a while! They cause problems in GAC at low levels with minimal gear because GBA's kit is great for early game. Maybe G7 or G8 until you know what to do otherwise?
I think the character priority stays similar, just try to farm the bounty hunter ships sooner to get a head start on executor! I'd wait til level 60 to buy the hyperdrive, so you can take advantage of extra farm time before fleet starts
Hey man, new to the game. A newbie question. How do I get to farm General kenobi and han Solo. If im like around level 42. I don’t know how to get their currency.
For the imperial troopers team, in the 'squads to actually use' section you have Starck, but change him to Range Trooper in 'Target Squads'. Since Range is a pretty early farm would you recommend just going straight for him? I'm nearly at 7* for Starck already but if he's not being used long-term I feel like it might be worth just ditching him for the late-term option?
I think 3po is way better early like before revan and padme. Because even tho they do a lot more, at that point you really don’t have a solid team and I wouldn’t want to fully relic revan Jedis till after jkl unlock. Half of cls is req for jkl anyways.
This is more of a focused guide for players trying to not waste annny resources on teams that might not be worth it. However, with Rex in the picture now this will change once he is farmable. If you want to farm phoenix, you can follow my first F2P guide. It's easy to find, it's the video on my channel with the most views
I dont see why you would get rid of phoenix because hera became a hard node farm and then go on to suggest imperial troops which are entirely hard node farms. Thrawn is great with palpatine anyway so might as well go for both with one team and use them to unlock r2d2 (who works better with jtr). For early game players watching this i would suggest still farming phoenix as hera performs well at lower stars and they are a good team for clearing galactic war more consistently until you build up better teams or reach lvl 85. Also you suggest jabba or see as first galactic legend and then mention that they can both be solo'd by slkr???
Phoenix is a valid option, but for this guide I wanted to give a more focuses guide because brand new players seem to get confused and over-invest in Phoenix a lot. I did not say that Jabba can get "solo'd" by SLKR, just that SLKR is the GL with a good chance to beat him. Even then, that is not a very good counter. You're coming in kind of hot here and it comes off as aggressive

Thanks for the advice on what you would change now but I think I already know my path forward from your (and from APGAINS) last guide. It still gave me a few new ideas that I can implement into my farming though, so a big thanks for that 😄
Also, one thing to add for Krayt raid, is once you Relic 8 Boba he can 1 hit on max for ~200k, that plus a decent Old Republic team gets you 500k. I've noticed a lot of guilds wanting around 500k damage minimum to join them since if everyone in guild hits that then the guild will get the 25mil crate.
Very nice! When listing the priorities, make sure you consider when they unlock. I.e. if you're a new player it's gonna take a while before you can unlock late tiers in LS/DS or Cantina.
in the squads to use you show starck in your imp troopers but at the end in target squads you show range trooper as your last imp trooper. is range trooper better but starck easier to get so he is at the beginning but not the end?
Yes! Exactly right. Range is a hard node farm which is slower and a more congested resource, while Starck is easy to get very fast to 7 stars with the raid currency
I appreciate the guide is very accurate and informative the only thing i wonder about is if its worth to start gearing up geonosians before level 60 so you have a quite good fleet right away?
I might add Iden trooper team as an alternative to Veers in pre-lvl 85, as Veers' lead is only truly enabled at lvl 82, but Iden's benefits are integrated into her whole kit right from lvl 1.
I started playing a week ago and I started farming phoenix just 2 days ago. In your opinion, should I drop them and farm Jedi and Rebels? I have a question. I'm about to reach level 85 and would like to choose between the two options. The first option is to get Java as the first gl And the second option is to get gas and then aim for Jabba I know it's wise to go after Jabba but I'm worried about how long it will take with f2p😢 Is gas definitely faster farming than jabba? (My guild is 230 million gp)
I would say that Gas is definitely faster - however, JKL is very similar to GAS in his quality, and he is needed for Jabba. Getting Jedi Knight Luke before Jabba might be the intermittent payoff you are looking for
