Very well done! My personal favorite is an oldie but a classic…Eglantine Price in Bedknobs & Broomsticks. The substitutiary locomotion spell used to make inanimate objects take on a life force of their own makes for one of my absolute favorite climactic battles in cinema. Plus it has the bonus of being a musical Disney film that blends live-action and animation.

4:14, Perhaps the magic system's only real flaw was that it's fundamental premise was the whole "100 percent brain power" trope, especially in combination with the conduit items like the rings, pendants and jewelry that allow sorcerer's to access their powers, as it suggest those items for some reason have supernatural power of their own in the same way wands do in Harry Potter. Speaking of which, magic residing with wizards in Harry Potter is more of a metaphysical force not tied to any normal science that also resides in certain places, objects and other phenomena, including the wood used for wands, which itself is reminiscent of the Force in Star Wars, which also resides in different places, objects and beings to different degrees and high enough concentrations, those things manifest supernatural properties. Honestly, the more interesting explanation could have been something more akin to psychic phenomena, that sorcerer's essentially manifested their thoughts and will into reality and what people consider sorcery or witchcraft is actually the imagination and beliefs of individuals collectively shaping that psychic energy into the form of what people consider to be magic. It would make the reasons for spells being so specific be more due to the cultures that believed them into existence, that they imagined these effects into a kind of formula and language. Either way, it's sad more wasn't done with this kind of story world, as its effects were great and it's power system was varied and versatile yet grounded in a sense that it was primarily nature and element-focused in contrast to the extradimensional, astral and cosmic powers that Disney's take on Doctor Strange and other mages within Marvel's film universes. And speaking of Doctor Strange specifically, while that franchise eventually improved on portraying it's mage's powers as character's like Strange, Wong and Wanda each use their powers in various ways (with a heavier emphasis on energy projection, constructs, telekinesis, transmutation, portals and conjured entities and weapons), it originally didn't have much in the way of making them appear balanced, since they are portrayed as primarily using martial arts, rarely being able to use their powers in combat (even one's as powerful as the Ancient One mostly just dodges attacks and uses energy constructs as melee weapons) but still having access to a massively powerful ability in their use of the Mirror Dimension that it seems dubious they should even struggle with some of the threats they do in other films if they can just engulf them in a dimensional rift and trap them in the Mirror Dimension (which doesn’t even cover the fact that they’re described as infusing supernatural power onto objects to avoid it straining them, yet there is a very limited variety of magical equipment featured in the first film, or even in later installments, besides Mordo’s platform creating boots, the pendant containing the Time Stone and Strange’s flight bestowing cloak). Meanwhile, sorcerer's in this film use melee and armed combat in conjunction with their various powers during fights and affect their environment in various creative ways, from simply moving matter, to animating images, to making pocket dimensions inside reflections (ironically, an actual mirror dimension). The closest film or film series in recent memory that has come anywhere close to just how varied it portrayed it's magical abilities was Fantastic Beasts with how many different ways wizards in those movies used magic, even for mundane tasks like preparing food or changing clothes, which went a long way to portray being an adult, fully trained and experienced wizard compared to the children that were the previous protagonists of the previous era of the Wizarding World franchise.
