"The Sorry Burger Suit Training Tape" 

I worked for Sorry Burger Co. as an equipment supervisor from June 1984 to the 1992 shutdown. In July 1986 one of my co-workers as well as a good friend, Bob Sherwood mysteriously disappeared. He was declared missing later that evening after having to work night shift the night before. 3 months later one of the janitors, Oliver Ramirez found two partially burned teeth under the incinerator where spoiled and recalled products were disposed of. The teeth were collected by investigators and taken to a crime lab to be tested. My worst fear was realized when the teeth matched Bob's dental records. The long frantic search for Bob by his family and friends including me had immediately turned into a homicide investigation. He was in charge of providing maintenance to the inside of the incinerator the night of his disappearance. He was also one of only few people making up skeleton a crew in the plant that night, and the other workers were on the other side of the facility, they wouldn't have heard him. There were large dents from behind the door that were likely from him trying to pound the door open with his pipe wrench in a panicked state after being locked in. The lack of evidence other than Bob's teeth were profound, no fingerprints, no shoe prints, even if there was any DNA evidence it wouldn't be an option for years, we didn't have security cameras yet, so no video evidence. It was as if a ghost or some kind of nefarious entity had done it. other workers disappeared after this incident, and many more before i took the job in 84. There where disappearances going all the way back to April 1972, and I knew it couldn't have been just a coincidence. I spent countless sleepless nights searching the archives for files, paperwork, documents and company records because if the police department wasn't going to do it, someone had to. It was against the rules but I'd do it late at night when no one was around to see me. Every room I'd enter during the night I would lock the door behind me for added security, even still, I'd feel like I was being watched from somewhere in the dimly lit facility through the large windows. I know for a fact whoever or whatever it was didn't want me rummaging through the company archives in search for the truth. That's why I secretly brought a sidearm with me in my briefcase, a Mauser C96 passed down to me by my father. I still have it to this very day. As the years went by I slowly compiled documents and records and was just about to crack the mystery, just needing only a few more records. But then suddenly the 1992 shutdown came. the corporate bigwigs never gave us a straight answer as to why they where shutting down the company. But the looks they where giving me in particular told me everything. They knew I was a millimeter away from solving the mystery of what was going on inside that company, thus bringing everything that transpired in that plant to light. Presently the facility is still vacant, or at least it should be. I've had people tell me that the lights inside the facility come on between the hours of 1:00 to 3:00 AM. People have chalked it up to urban explorors............... But I know for a fact all the entrances are locked up tight and the windows have steel bars..................
