It's not as powerful as I thought it would be, but it works very well. ru-vid.comUgkxGjG43--gYqIoT4Xkur2PqCrtbKwTv2h6 There are three options to circulate air, and best of all a remote control for us lazy people. Installation was a breeze (no pun intended). It actually took longer to open the box then it did putting the side extenders on and sitting it in the window opening. It's a perfect alternative when you want airflow, but not the AC. Just might order another one for a different room. UPDATE: Bought another one like I said. They work great. Why not have two...

I have slept with a box fan every day of my life. Except for when I go spend the night at grandparent's or whatever. Box fans are my favorite, they sound the best to me for some reason.

I can just imagine it, after playing all day or working from a long day you turn on the fan and get some warm blankets to then lay down and nap right in front of the fan having the breeze fly right in your face like how the wind feel when you stand on a hil top on a windy day. Drifting away in silence by closing your eyes, having no thoughts, but just pure listening to the fan till you fall asleep

You see, I didn't sleep for the first few days because I was always used to the sound of a fan. So I looked on youtube, praying someone did this, and not only had your uncle done this, but there were tons of others like me. So God bless him.

Honestly... I have a roommate that snores so loud it’s impossible to sleep. finally I’ve been approved for a room transfer and I couldn’t have made it through the semester without this video. It was the only one I could find that could drown him out while still putting me to sleep. Thank you!

It is currently 2:27 am and I am over at a friends house and I have migrated from the floor to a couch in another room. Then I had to basically do a in the dark obstacle course to get here and I realized there is no fan which I need to sleep. This will have to do. And I will be in my nice bed tommorow so that's nice!

Reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in the hills of Virginia. We didn't have air conditioning in the house, all we had was an old window fan that sounded exactly like this. I went to sleep many a night to the sound of that old fan. This brings back so many memories of my childhood! Thank you!
