It is a great tragedy that Julie lost her singing voice back in June 1997. Still there are various videos and recordings she made for us. They are great comforts to me now. As a fan, I miss her voice; I wish if only Julie Andrews could belt out her amazing soprano voice again. Though she no longer sings in public as a singer, her name will remain a legend as one of the queens of Broadway musicals.
Julie could have become an opera singer if she had followed the advice by her singing teacher Lilian Stiles-Allen. She never needed anybody to get her voice dubbed.
