AI music is the stuff of video games and other such things where the art of musical composition and performance have little value. It is fake art and the typical cast of business opportunists are trying to carve out a niche of profitability for it. I'll take my music as human art communicated by human composers and performers.
I think an interesting question to pose here is.. Where does the demand for Music to be made by AI come from? I don't believe it's the listeners, consumers, fans of Music or the artists and producers. Who benefits from Music made by AI? Music services like streaming and library music who can increase their profits and ownership of the music..follow the money trail..
Why don't you believe it's the listeners? Ultimately, someone has to listen to music. So I decided to check it out: I made a video with a song created using AI and will see who might like it.
in the future AI will write most of the music, record companies will own all the copyrights and people will go to $1000 per ticket concerts and see holograms perform and the masses will love it.
no because a destined group of artists will create masterpieces in their respective fields (cinema, music, theatre, etc...) and these masterpieces will prove what humans are capable of when it comes to art, and how humans are lightyears ahead compared to AI. A lot of people will have their heart and soul deeply touched by these masterpieces and they'll never be able to return to the soulless AI overlord.
