jfc, i forgot how fucking good this album and this band is!!! I feel euphoric jamming out to this reliving 2006 or whenever this album came out. Those were some good years in my life. Can anyone maybe list some similar style bands if at all possible really...? I think the closest I can think of are Tera Melos and The Fall of Troy.

ProgRock band from Norway called ‘22’ w/ albums “You Are Creating” and “Flux” Icelandic progRock called ‘Agent Fresco’ and they have only two albums. First is “A Long Time Listening” and the more recent one is “Destrier”.

Re recording albums already released never works. At best it can point new fans to the original. Theres always reasons for artists to try-the art rarely seems to hold the creators vision, in the artist’s opinion-but art is as much the magic of the time it was made and audience that sees it as it is the vision of the artist.

I agree. One exception, I think, is Thrice's newly released rerecording of "the Artist in the Ambulance." They really captured something special on that one. It's like hearing the album again for the first time.
