I am 81yrs now. Very tired of the pain, anxiety and negative I'm surrounded by. I will be returning Home soon and cant wait. My sweet dog, Izzy, is waiting for me, I'm very excited to see her. I closed the window, pulled the curtain down, turned on the cold air conditioner, and opened this video. The rain made me remember my childhood days, when it rained all day, my sister and I were in our old house, studying or playing, waiting for my parents to return after a day of work; then we had dinner together, watched TV, and then went to sleep. There was no internet, no facebook, no smartphone ... just the sound of rain like that, with trees, with insects, slightly chilly weather and feeling of peace.

Went to the doctor as was having real trouble with environmental anxiety (noise, neighbours etc) They didn't want to know basically. All they said was to try calming techniques. I got myself onto these ambient background sounds and my anxiety has gone right down. I listen on my mp3 player most of the time, even in bed. I would highly recommend these sounds to anyone with anxiety as not many people understand what it's like to live with it. The stress levels can be debilitating at times so listening to these helps massively as it cuts out all other environmental noises.
