It's clear that the AI has no real 'understanding' of the song as a whole, but every so often it utterly nails the image for a given verse.

I can just imagine some guys in the 60's seeing this and thinking they're tripping on LSD

This is one of the best ones I've seen so far on my tour of "AI generated lyric music video." I think the lyrics really lend themselves to this kind of image, but I also like the little animation

I loved loved LOVED the "disturb the sound of silence" image on 1:44. Silent trees in the distance looking like soundwaves, it's brilliant. If a human made such a thing I would think that they are so smart.

I have watched a few of these now, and I can't help but get the feeling that AI is going through a Goth stage, it is all so dark. Who knows maybe it will grow out of this and cheer up.

Creepy, disturbing and beautiful! This is as much about an AI’s ability to create compelling images as it is about our brain’s ability to find meaning and emotion in these compelling images. I spent an evening with one of the free online imagine creating programs. I entered a line from a favorite song and was blown away by the artistic and ‘imaginative’ interpretation of the lyrics. As an aspiring amateur painter I was also dismayed that this ‘mindless-soulless’ algorithm did a better job than I am capable. I decided to put my defeatist reaction aside and am now inspired by the quality of these creations to make my own attempts more emotive, more expressive, more spontaneous, more risky, more stylized. I think being bested by an automaton has given me the kick-in-the-ass I have needed to take my own work to a higher level. That said, I am really glad I am not a professional artist who now has to compete with a computer program. 🤖🎨🖼️

The additional subtle movements within the individual shots work wonderfully, at least in my senses. The fact that an "artificial mind", (not much artificial as non-organic), was so often able to catch the expressed emotions within the song. . . Well, was just scary, even if beautiful. Has anyone given this new art form, (that's so familiar but so different at the sane time), a name?

If these RU-vid videos are AI they must be using mentally-challenged AI because not just one video but all of them have the same neo-gothic styled imagery & the same metaphors used over & over. If one person created them I’d say they were stale as an artist but for an AI to be so cobbled by one overdone style suggests that the inputs were ridiculously narrow. Every building over 10 videos is a version of the flatiron building. I call fake!

Great Video. I did not know this technology existed. I grew up in the 60's when we had LPs and album art and really miss this type of imagery. My 17 yr old Nephew knows 6 computer coding languages including Linux and I am sure this tech would be his forte and something he understands. Old farts like me miss album art and LPs.
