The Sound System Behind the Open Air Gampel festival 

For four days every summer, the small Swiss village of Gampel-Bratsch is the awe-inspiring setting for a diverse line-up of musical talent for the Open Air Gampel festival. Local rental company, Free Power Eventtechnik, has been supplying the event since it first began in 1986, and for the 2019 festival opted for Electro-Voice X-Line Advance X2 as the main system on the White Stage with power from Dynacord TGX20 amplifiers and system setup and control from SONICUE sound system software. The variety of musical genres on show meant that the versatility of X2 was put to the test, and the reactions of the FOH engineers showed that it served them all perfectly.
