"there are so many talented people" -Lea. Thats right but for the 40 years of her career and in my 25 years, I have never heard a voice that could match Lea's. Philippines has so many talented singers but LEA is just so unique.
Is it just me when I see something on RU-vid that is about lea I'll keep watching over and over again It started last week I found a vid of a vocal coach reacting to her on my own (didn't search it) I got addicted I watched it over and over and watch her interviews and even watched les mis and miss saigon. I mean she got better at singing she is my inspiration ❤️❤️❤️
Her fame is there, and still there. Because she's never takes drugs. And she's never did stupid things. Mrs Selonga, she's always smart and funny. God bless her.....

At 40, wow I reckon Lea Salonga is a genius in our midst. Who else had put in much discipline and committed to almost a lifelong excellence starting at a tender age of 7, the voice is a God given talent and everything else that went along with it, the wit, the smarts, the sparkly and engaging personality, but she really made sure to put in the work and focus, and displayed no complacency or entitlement at all like other superstars. A really inspiring character!
I agree that Lea Salonga is truly a one-of-a-kind singer here in the Philippines. The reason why I think so is that she sings with clarity and care for her voice, she is not a "birit queen" but rather a storyteller that gives justice to the meaning of the song. Lea Salonga is truly a wonderful person, inside and out.
My first impression was that this interview with Lea Salonga by Pinky Webb was aired in one of America’s TV channels, only to find out later that this is here in the Philippines.You guys have done well. We’ve done well in bringing this TV show to a world class level.

I remember being so young and wishing I had the money to watch miss saigon.. that was year 2000. Anyway 2 decades later I finally got to watch leah salonga when she played Mrs. Lovett last year in the play sweeney todd. I have watched broadway plays in Dubai like Annie and I can definitely say Leah Salonga despite her age is just so wonderful and amazing! She is indeed a very talented artist and her experience in broadway really shines. I am glad I could finally watch her live.. hopefully I can watch one of her shows again after this pandemic. Although I still regret not getting to watch her play in Miss Saigon live.
Aside from her singing I always love watching her interviews! I find it entertaining and informative, i was just like mesmerized by her everytime she talk and sing, of course. I can't wait to see her sold-out 40th Anniversary concert! I know it's going to be amazing show with full of entertainment and wonderful music! 😊🎤🎼🎵🎶🎹

Pinoy ako you're so lucky. I was 15 when miss saigon performed here in ph. And i was not interested in theater or musical that time. And i dont have the resources to watch her either that time.
Never siya na burn out kasi for most years sa ibang bansa naman siya nag trabaho, mas makatao ang training doon. Unlike dito sa Pilipinas they take advantage of your fame kaliwat kanan trabaho birit kung birit. Lea made a good choice leaving the country and now she has all the credibilities to choose the work that she wants to do.
I'm glad she is not considering cosmetic surgery versus plastic surgery, probably just purifying cleansing facial which is showing on her face, so smooth and healthy looking 😍

Agreed. Lea is so well-spoken! The good news is that Lea has a lot going on this year, so I think she will be doing a lot of interviews! Lea is one of the producers of the broadway musical HERE LIES LOvE and will be in the show for 5 weeks this summer. And then Lea returns to the West End stage in a show for the first time in decades with OLD FRIENDS this fall.
I prefer to listen to them both... Pinky and Leah both classy.. Minus the pasosyal effect of many who pretend not being able to pronounce the letter "R". I saw many RU-vid videos of those "sosyal-wanna-bes" E.g. "i-Rrhool niyo yung Kahhrrne na nabili niyo pahhrra maayos na maibabad sa mahhrrinade". Bow to this humble theater queen. 😍

Wine smells and tastes better after proper ageing. Like cheese are, only the smell differs, cheese matures in smell and taste..smell transformed to mature and taste is from good to better. I haven't smelled lea yet..but i presume she smell sooo fresh when she was younger. LOL. I really admire her though!🙊🙊🙊

I appreciate her talent, I’m proud as a Filipino for her achievements globally, when she speak though, it sounds like she’s acting in front of the camera or on a broadway stage. I wonder how she sounds in front of her family and friends off camera.

tess castro I really adore her so much. She's very humble that she cannot handle the credits alone, she wants also to consider those Filipinos who was part also of the show. She is really a queen who kept her feet on the ground regardless to the fact of many achievements and pride she brought to our country.
