Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Please don't get me wrong.... I like this version, I really do... however, the original is much better.... no, better is the wrong word.... the original has more.... feeling...? Less is more and all that.... but hey.... It's your tune so, you do what you want with it... but, I paid proper Enlish pounds for the original (99p) so I'll stick with that.... glad you kids are sticking it to the man (or relative other person) Cosmic love Pete xoxo
I prefer the live version of this song. This is a great song, but the tempo seemed a little slow. Could just that they sound better live than in a studio like Maiden or Kiss.
@thebigob1 yeh, it was a, more upbeat, live version that turned me on to this tune.... it seems like the lads have tried to capture that live vibe with some of the "modifications" made? I do dig this band though... hope to catch them when they get to Manchester, England?
