Great teaching. Two thoughts: 1) I don’t think it’s necessarily wrong to give arguments against sin without using scripture. Obviously, our basis is the Word, but consider a case like Paul addressing the Areopagus about their worship in Acts 17. He never directly quoted scripture, and in fact quotes a secular play. In the same way, I believe we should use wisdom in our responses to nonbelievers, which may mean choosing not to directly quote scripture at times. 2) I would love if there were a part two, or if Voddie had been able to spend more time on “what’s the solution/what do we do as believers,” rather than just talking about why and how things are so sinful. Once again though, this is a great teaching that more people need to hear!

I pray that all ministers and pastors would preach Biblical truth just as this anointed saint does!

Great sermon! Great preacher! We need to hear more of these kinds of solid teaching & sound doctrine in churches today! I'm tired of those sugar coated ice cream sermons called PROSPERITY gospel.

Im confused about pastor voddie. I listened to his permance view of marriage sermon and he preached the truth until 54 minutes in when e contridicted himself by saying if youre in a second marriage tostay in it. What happen to the first marriage? The spouse praying for reconciliation? If theyre is kids involved in the first why do they lose a parent? He shattered the idea of the exceptoio clause. The so called pauline priveledge. So when did the permanace of marriage go away? If god doesn't allow divorce then how is a civil marriage made a covenant? When does repentance of sin come into play? If the second civil marriage is supposed to be the new permanent one what if that ends and a third foirth or tenth marriage occurs? I dont see how he an preach about permance

God hear my prayers. The last three years I’ve been struggling. Through my struggles I found Jesus he has carried me this far. So even as I struggle to support my children and myself I trust in you Jesus. Being a single mom things can be hard raising them alone. My husband is with God I miss him dearly. Both of my children are autistic. I started homeschooling them last year and they are now thriving. I also suffered a heart attack two years ago so I’m getting healthier everyday. As I struggle to pay my rent each month and as I struggle to buy groceries. I know God will make a way. Where there seems to be no way. He works in ways we cannot see. I have faith! God has not forgotten me. Faith First! ❤

Thank you for this message. I came upon it searching for help, scriptural help, that living together is NOT marriage in God’s eyes. I have a Christian friend that thinks my thinking is backwards- that the couple is already joined when they have sex, cohabitate and have children. I can’t find anything saying we need to be joined by a pastor (or I would say actually making the commitment before God) . I was not a believer when we married, so if being unequally yoked is a void marriage, that means we aren’t married. My question then is this - what, scripturally defines the act of marriage? If my son and his fiancé just go to the courthouse (after living together for 4 years) are they married in the eyes of God?

Help: When I listen to mr Voddie, I feel like I'm missing some prior knowledge. I'm a beginner, can someone help show me what I should watch first, as a beginner, from Voddie? Thank you

Love Voddie but I wish he was a but more empathetic to the abuse women in the 70s were enduring and what let to their hatred. Own nothing, cook cleand and serve for everyone. Men absolutely did have motive for acquiring a wife. It wasn't really anything to laugh at.

Yes, everyone must know that free will does not exist and there is no chance for most people to find salvation. The high calvinst view of determinism/sovereignty is the only thing that can keep a person from worshipping themselves.
