I visited the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium to do the Sevilla FC Stadium Tour. Whilst there I realised that Sevilla were formed by Scotsmen!
Scotland really helped to grow football globally and here's another example of that. Sevilla are record winners of the Europa League/UEFA Cup.

Not sure about the story myself, but my grandpa said there was a Scot that brung football to Brazil, there was an old guy that used to fly a saltire at the Brazil games I think he has now sadly passed.

Well, that's me got a new team to follow! As someone who was also formed by Scots on Robbie Burns day (hence the name), I have always felt a strong affinity to Sevilla.

Magic vlog Sam. Thank You I learned a lot of information from this particular vlog from a Scottish persons point of view. All us Scots should be extremely proud of how we helped football & Savilla as a club to grow right from the start. Thank You Sam you are a legend in your own life time. One of my respectively favourite clubs daily and ever in this world and other planets,Sevilla are a successfully big club in their history and I hope to see some respective Scottish players to be playing for the club that was formed by a Scottish and to get some of the respective Sevilla supporters to know that they were formed by a Scottish,good friends!!!:-D

I'm Scottish and Sevilla is as you say a beautiful city. Intense "old firm" style rivalry with other city team, Real Betis. Not sure about the oldest club in Spain. I believe Recreativo de Huelva are. Founded by yes Scots and English who were connected in one way or another with the local mines of Rio Tinto. Enjoyed the video🙂

Awesome video. I’ve only seen Sevilla live once in the Super Cup final 2016 against Real Madrid. My favorite Norwegian team Rosenborg where the host. Real won 3-2 after extra time. Great game.

From what I understand about this subject it has something to do with a Navel battle Scots took part in off the coast of Tenerife. I would love to find out more about this subject. Viva Tenerife.
