30.18. Water objects of fishery importance of the Volgograd region:
30.18.1. Forbidden for catching (catching) of aquatic biological resources:
In the Volga River:
In the upper tail of the Volga HPP - at a distance of less than 0.5 km from the dam;
In the lower tail of the Volga HPP - from the dam to the Volga-Akhtuba canal (along the left bank, including the sluice channel) and along the right bank to the mouth of the Mokraya Mechetka River.
30.18.2. Forbidden periods (periods) of catching (catching) of aquatic biological resources:
From May 1 to June 30 - in the Volgograd Reservoir with the rivers flowing into it within the administrative boundaries of the Volgograd Region with all the instruments of catch (except for one float or bottom fishing rod), spinning from the shore with a total number of hooks no more than 2 pieces on the tools of extraction (Catch) from one citizen;
From April 25 to June 30 in the Eruslan River and its tributaries from the village of Belyaevka within the administrative boundaries of the Volgograd Region;
From May 1 to June 15 - in the rivers Volga, Akhtuba below the dam of the Volga hydroelectric power station, in water objects of fishery importance of the Volga-Akhtuba floodplain, in Sarpinskie lakes (Sarpa, Tsatsa) within the administrative boundaries of the Volgograd region, except for one float or bottom fishing rod with Shore with a total number of hooks of not more than 2 pieces on the catching tools of one citizen outside the spawning grounds specified in Annex No. 6 to the Fisheries Rules. "The list of spawning sites located on water bodies of fishery significance Vo Lzsko-Caspian fishery basin ";
From 25 April to 25 June - in the reservoirs of the Volga-Don Shipping Canal, with the exception of one float or bottom fishing rod from the shore with a total number of hooks not more than 2 pieces on the catching tools of one citizen;
From 1 January to 14 September and from 1 December to 31 December - crayfish.
30.18.3. Forbidden for catching (catch) types of aquatic biological resources:
Sturgeon species of fish, white fish, herring black cherry.
30.18.4. The minimum size of extracted (harvested) aquatic biological resources (commercial size):
It is prohibited to produce (catch), receive, process, transship, transport, store and unload aquatic bioresources having a fresh length (in cm) less than indicated in Table 20, when fishing is carried out.

The commercial size of aquatic biological resources is determined in fresh form:
In fish - by measuring the length from the top of the snout (with the mouth closed) to the base of the middle rays of the caudal fin;
In crustaceans - by measuring the body from the line connecting the middle of the eyes, until the end of the tail plates.
The extracted (harvested) aquatic biological resources, having a length less than that specified in Table 20, are subject to immediate release into the natural habitat with the least damage.
