The Specialists FINALLY Do Big Brother 

Blake, thanks for bringing me back through the years! I think I have just as fond and funny memories… been watching since day one! McKenna was fantastic too! Great job guys ❤️❤️

BBCAN10 was such a good season. Gave me the high that I crave from Big Brother and the feeds that season were such a blast. So much fluidity and activity with some truly crowd pleasing moments.

18:11 So fun fact: apparently Kaycee almost did have a showmance that season, with Bayleigh! This was back before we got live move in, so by the time live feeds would turn on after the first episode premiered the players had already been in the house for at least a week. And of course production didn’t put any of their relationship in the episodes. But yeah, apparently at the start of the season Kaycee and Bayleigh were flirting a lot. Idk what changed, if it was just Bayleigh developing feelings for Swaggy, or if it was something else, but apparently this ended up causing a huge fight between Kaycee and Bayleigh on a season of The Challenge.

Hype! Hearing Blake talk about the production of game shows not only was very interesting, but also really helped me understand why the seasons lately have felt more lackluster overall - there’s often no payoff at the end of the Thursday show, specifically not knowing who won HOH (the person getting evicted is almost always a foregone conclusion by that point if you’ve been keeping up with feeds). A cliffhanger is really just frustrating to those of us that are going to watch everything anyway. I didn’t know that Blake worked on BBCan! How cool! I’m really impressed and engaged every time he talks about tv or film production. Also yes gays ❤️ Happy pride! Hoping for even more queer rep this season. Then maybe we’ll get the possibility of a queer showmance. I definitely understand not wanting to host a watch party, especially for the premiere episode lol. I forget who said it (probably Taran tbh) but the game of Big Brother is really interesting and captivating, while the show Big Brother is often embarrassing. I’m definitely a big fan, but it almost becomes a guilty pleasure.

Bb9 was the Winter season. Also BB19 is one of the worst seasons to be your introduction.

Excited to see the Specialists delve into Big Brother. I was actually a Big Brother fan first then discovered Survivor. I personally have felt that being a fan of both shows have given me a greater appreciation for social strategy in both games, from the emotional character-based narratives to the gamebot strategy. They really compliment each other. The show Big Brother can undeniably be garbage now though, but I can’t help but return year after year for more misery just to get the good. It’s really good when it’s good, but it’s sooooo bad when it’s bad.

If you have an off season time, you should do some BBCan. It’s cancelled but the past seasons is better than US. Also, I think that the producers treat big brother as a “dumb summer show”, and I think it could be better if the people making the show cared a little more.

Apparently they got a new competition director (For more equitable comps) so hopefully more power shifts this season.

As i like to call it LAME BROTHER , the most boring reality show ever
