There’s one comic where he gets shot instead of Ben and he doesn’t get bit but he actually gets a happy ending but you’re right mans is constantly in pain
I once thought that Peter Parker becoming the Spider-man was the worst thing that could happen to him because of the events that follow, but nah, its just his existence
@@ljeans531i think the idea that a grown up asshole bully than decided to take the responsibility for his actions is somewhat a revolutionary and almost alien concept.
What’s so ironic about this story, is that Peter actually said at his funeral, (in the main Marvel universe, if i’m not mistaken, this happened in the Red Goblin’s story.) when Flash died, that he was actually his #1 hero. He goes on this whole monologue about how he never actually realized *why* Flash bullied him, until after they had graduated, and then villains like Otto made him realize that bully’s are only created by other bullies. That pain is a cycle, and all it takes is one person, one person to accept their responsibility, and break that cycle. The part that actually made me cry was the end, he tells Flash how honored he was to be his role model, his idol, even if it was only as Spider-Man….but then he says he just wished he’d gotten the chance to tell Flash himself, that Peter was really his “#1 fan”.
@@thechosenone3561way more than that, he also called him that because of his actions after highschool. He sacrificed his legs to save his team, became agent venom and anti venom to save the world and help peter. Then at the end he gave up the antivenom suit keeping him alive to save and heal the other spider people and their friends
@@MrNamenamenamenameread the comic peter actually want to ask spider man for help to fight this group or whatever it is called "master planner" so the the treatment for aunt may can send without any problem
Dud did break into his home so Flash isn't COMPLETELY at fault here. Yeah it looks like he did it out of rage more than the Breaking/entering but still. A good lawyer could argue self defense and Flash did the right thing in the end it seems. Haven't read this one and I do agree Peter is Marvel's punching bag for some reason.
@@sonicdash761 Goku killed an entire army of people when he was a child. Unlike Batman, Superman does not have a code to not kill people, he simply chooses not to. We've seen a number of alternate Supermen that have clearly decided it wasn't worth not doing it. When you're not the same species, you have no moral obligation to not kill them. Hence why we eat animals.
@@albireotheredguard1599he may live, but does he also still go through traumatic experiences? They always have him go through mental suffering or physical suffering. If you’re name is Peter Parker (or maybe just Spider-Man in some cases) you are going to suffer, trust 😂
@@k45hc1ll4 The only one out of those 4 that would be traumatic was the one with Cindy Moon because Peter got shot defending his family from a burglar. He did get better, people stopped bullying him, and became Cindy's Guy in the Chair.
I give Flash credit not only fulfilling wish but turning himself in Whether he’s Agent Venom, Agent Ant-Venom, or Spider-Man Flash is a hero that starts our flawed but owns up to it and make things right It’s sad he had the loss of his childhood friend in what’s really an accident, as he had anger and super strength, on his conscience
@@Entertainer13 holy fuck it's real I'm staring at the pages now, dude really looks like he went with the superhero gimmick all the way and the way he died tho🤣 has me weak
Surprising for Flash to be so upstanding from the starting line. I didn't think he learned such values until later in his life. Also, echoing what a lot of people are saying, Peter just can't ever catch a break. 🤣
I still wish we got more from Spider-Flash. I can honestly see him working alongside the police as a form of community service not too dissimilar to Insomniac Spider-Man.
It’s not really a “Spider-Man who kills” it was an accident because he didn’t realise his own strength could kill. He saves Peter’s Aunt May and turns himself in for 3rd degree murder.
People say that power and money corrupt, but thats not true. Like the super soldier serum, it makes you more of what you are. It gives you the power to be who or what you are. Thompson was a bully and with power became a killer. That might not have been his original intention, but he still did it. That fact that he let himself be arrested is a good show of character, and that he regretted what he did, but he was still a bully. He still had anger issues and he still would have abused the weak. Edit for spelling.
At this point it wouldn't surprise me if they retconned Peter into being that one kid Thanos bullies his entire life just to add to the shitpile that is Peter's existence.

@@VitaeLibrasimpler answer. I have seen both sides of bullying It comes out of lacking something others have The problem? Is instead of fixing the issue, they make themselves feel temporarily good by making you feel terrible Yes SOME grow out of it. Many? It becomes who they are. Which is quite a sad sight But the crux of the issue? Comes down to them never being taught to treat another as they wanna be treated When you don’t see people as equals, you lack respect. And thus have no care for the consequences of hurting someone else to ease your own pain I came to a similar conclusion as you. Mine was basically broken people make broken people I don’t pity them. As everyone has a choice. Whether it’s between two horrible choices or a good and a bad choice, you ALWAYS have a choice And I don’t give excuses for others actions As everyone must deal with the consequences of their actions To me? If you haven’t even taken the chance to self analyze and be like ‘maybe I’ve been cruel to others’ by your 30s. You WANTED TO BE THAT WAY. But that’s my perspective
@@thechosenone3561 That's sweet and all, but if my kid is getting bullied and no one is doing anything about I'm telling my kid to install brick.exe in the bully's face
I’ve always wanted to be Spider-Man but thought that if I were it would be a miserable life. I now feel relieved to know it’s only Peter Parker whose life is miserable😭😭😭
At least this shows Flash as the person he really was, not always just the bad guy but a dude who simply grew up wrong. He shows a clear capacity for good several times as opposed to being just another piece of shit.
Bro one day if I ever become rich I will commission a comic just to see Peter Parker as spider man happy like I’ll tell the writer just make him happy as possible just so Peter can have one continuity where he isn’t dying, getting tortured, cheated on, betrayed etc.
Strike two on Flash being Spider-man. Last universe that happened in ended with Flash dying because he didn't have web shooters and he missed a building while jumping
Well this is going to be an interesting court case, especially after when the learned that he didn’t mean to kill Peter and that he saved Aunt May's life.
These mfers really said "I'd rather be dead than caught in/with that" and followed through with it. I guess i gotta commend their dedication to "drip or die" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This comic kinda highlights Flash's heart of gold. He bullies the hell out of ppl, but he's a actually stand-up guy and he'd probably rather put his life on the line than see an innocent person get hurt. I just can't bring myself to hate em. Sad that Peter ended up dying again.
Peter really needs a proper villain arc where he's had enough of all the bad luck and traumatic experiences he keeps getting on a daily basis. 😂 Give this story to the person who created "Rooftop Swordmaster" or "Hero has Returned" and it'll be very very hype, but also tragic. Like every page shows why Peter is doing this because he remembers how much he's been victimized by someone.
This is why flash is a good character. Always a bully to pete but when shit hits the fan you see how strong his moral compass is in the end. If not he would have just hid the body and moved on.
I have never seen a fictional character that has THIS many variants that exist for no other reason than to suffer and/or die that doesn’t have an in-universe explanation for it. There’s literally a varient of Peter that was introduced in Spider-Verse to immediately be eaten by an inheritor. He then got his own “solo” issue, where Venom digs up his still warm corpse and then swings over to Mj and Aunt May (who are still crying because they were only just told about his death a few minutes prior) so Venom can taunt and threaten them. The issue then ends on Venom preparing to exhume and reanimate *GWEN STACEY.* To recap: This Peter existed just to *be eaten alive* and have his corpse pupated by one of his greatest enemies to torture his loved ones, because the writers refuse to let him even *rest* in peace. Yeah, I’m convinced the writers actively just hate Peter.
The worst truth is that the world decides how good you have to be and towards whom and it is sickening we follow it so naturally despite knowing that being too Good can harm as much as being bad.
