So much fond memories of this group, "The Spinners," and their songs that touched so many lives. Saw them at "The Uptown Theater" in Philadelphia in the "1960's" and I really remembered the song, "It's A Shame." Now, living in New York, at the Blessed Age of 78, still love and listen to the "oldies and goodies" that I can relate to. Can hear the lyrics, music is not overpowering and song gives a message, that's my kind of music. So many of the artists/musicians/singers from my "era" have gone on, but left such sweet soulful music to remember them by and to reminisce about our family and friends who were also here, at the time, to enjoy with us. God is good!🙏🏽❤️🎶
This music here takes you back to a different time in life when things were simple.I was just nine years old when this was out but I knew good music when I heard it .May the Spinners Rip
Indeed no doubt about that it just doesn't get any better than Old school music. ( Curtis Mayfield and The Impressions, Jerry Butler, The Five StarisSteps of The Windy City of Chicago and so many more I truly enjoy this great time in my life of this great music.
Every time i hear this the tears start streaming from my eyes. If u have loved someone with all your heart and they've left you with no explanation or no reciprocation, bc u were too scared to really open ur heart to them for fear of rejection or they blow it off like it's a joke. When u sit down and think about the one who got away and it's tearing your heart to shreds...or u see them with someone else and it only intensifies the pain within. But u try to compartmentalize that pain for years, and think you got a grip on ur feelings...but u hear a song like this and the wound that once covered ur broken heart opens up and here you are crying your eyes out...yet again...for that one that got away....💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

OMG OMG OMG!!! My mind is BLOWN🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯sir, your remix is AWESOME!!! I loved this song when it hit the airwaves in 1972, and wore out my 45 record as well. I appreciate how you still keep the instrumentation true to the song, and the extended musical bridge simply took me out!!!! Thank you for this outstanding remix!!! A beautiful track wonderfully and tastefully remixed. i love it. Question .....Can you remix Aint no price on happiness by The Spinners and Something inside my head by Gene Dunlap featuring Philippe Wynne? That would be awesome. Thank you.
