@@scottyshepardthesmoothdeep3081 honestly, it's a gift from God! I picked up my very first bass guitar at 11 years old. My granddad is the bass player for The Stars of Faith (idk if you've heard of them or not) but going to a lot of his shows, watching him as well as my uncle, who's VERY GOOD on the bass, encouraged me to pick one up and play. I play by ear. There's still A LOT of room for improvement. Then interacting with bass players such as Darnell Smith (Spiritual Soldiers bass player) and Rich Nash is only pushing me to learn more and soon to become one of the greatest to ever touch a bass!
