It really is kind of amazing what just planting a seed will do. I was a Methodist for 56 yrs, I was married to a Catholic, had 2 kids who were raised Catholic because "it didn't matter to me where they went",(divorced now) my agnostic older brother was married to a Catholic (married now 51 yrs) and nobody ever tried to explain Catholicism to me. I thought all those things Fr Alar said Protestants say, every last one of them and then one day (after my brother became Catholic in his late 60's) he says to me "you do know that Jesus started the Catholic church, right?" I had no idea, that was a revelation to me. Nothing more was said, we weren't even talking religion specifically at that moment but that thought didn't leave my brain so for the next year I reluctantly watched RU-vid videos by Fr Mike Schmitz, Catholic Answers, Peter Kreeft and more and 3.5 yrs ago I entered the Catholic church and haven't looked back. My brother planted an itsy bitsy seed and God made it grow.

And that is why I'm here , to learn more.

I have found a deep love for Mother Mary and the rosary and love sitting in chapel silently in front of the blessed sacrament. As you mentioned people talking loudly in church, I recently politely asked some people to lower their voices before the rosary session started. They usually entered the chapel talking loudly and jokingly, and interestingly, the rosary session now starts with people entering and sitting down silently. Thank you Lord! We have to speak up as some don't even realize how to behave in church. God bless you and thank you so much for your talks 💖! I am learning so much!

Father I am so enjoying these talks! My husband and I grew up lukewarm protestant & converted to the Catholic faith last year! I can’t even describe how radically the Catholic faith has changed our lives. I have chronic lyme disease & mold toxicity and spend my time resting at home since I often can’t walk due to my illness. We sadly have to wait to have children until my disease is under control because it causes miscarriages & health issues for the baby. It’s our hardest struggle to wait so long to have a family but I am so blessed to understand redemptive suffering now! I am learning to be deeply thankful for my suffering. Your talks have been such a blessing to listen to as I sit at home. You are touching so many lives Father, thank you so much for all you do.

To the Marian Helpers and especially to Fr. Chris, thank you for instructing me (the ignorant) and admonishing me (a sinner) through this talk on the Spiritual Works of Mercy. I am happy to know that I can contribute to bringing good in the world by being Jesus's instrument of bringing mercy to this merciless world. Most of all, I am relieved to learn that I can pray for the dying and the dead to receive mercy, and that my prayers can have an impact that can reach future generations.

I often say I forgive everyone and pray that everyone will have the graces for this life and to get to Heaven. Lately I have been getting angry and upset with a friend and his family and others regarding vaccination and COVID issues. I have been hurt by some of the things said. There points still angers me and upsets me. I keep coming against these feelings. I do stand up for what I believe. I am feeling like Jesus is now telling me to not get into any more. Let it go. I am going to do that now and I am going to ignore this stuff. I always have said I forgive and prayed on this. I guess at least opening the door is going to help heal us and bring peace. Saying we forgive and asking for God to help us with our feelings is the way
