This was 🔥. As a therapist, I’ve noticed that one of hardest things for people to do is to accept their true self, which is spirit. They’re so invested in their conditioned self. Real therapy is the process of waking up from the nightmare of who you think you are.

Man is born with no automatic knowledge. Therefore every man's true self is learned and conditioned. The spiritual has to do with man's consciousness, mindfulness. People have a hard time accepting their nature because it's not always easy to do.

@@SDC214 when I say conditioned self I’m more or less referring to the things you learn from navigating various environmental challenges. You may move a certain way so long you think it’s your personality when it’s really just a survival strategy.

@@Shadetreetherapy A survival strategy is not automatic knowledge to any man. Self preservation has no hold over anyone who is suicidal. Survival in itself is not above mans conscious effort to obtain/maintain it. Man must FIRST accept that his own life is valuable and consciously act accordingly. Personality absolutely determines all men's survival strategy and means of self preservation
