I looove the different textures you were able to create here. From the glassiness of the eyes, to the coarse hairs, to the ridges and grooves of the antlers, it all looks so accurate it's almost tactile.

Ahh Autumn thank you! That means a lot I was still so new to painting fur texture at this point, I was afraid it would wouldn't read well ^_^

You always just break through all my expectations for you. Your artisanship inspires me over and over again. I've always strayed from watercolor because I draw using lots of detail. You proved that watercolor can be done very detailed. Thanks ♡

I stayed away from watercolor for a long time as well! For a while I had this idea that is was too 'uncontrollable' but now I kind of love that side of it :D Using that as a base and then doing tight details on top has been such an enjoyable process

I'm very guilty of not starting with a base and then building from there. Then I get frustrated when I have a subject but nothing behind it! Lol!
