Count Arthur is an entertainment god to me. I listen to all his radio shows nightly. Seen two of his stage shows of his, and chatted to some bloke afterwards called Steve Delaney, who says he knows him. Well, I have news for Mr Delaney. You have to get up a long time before me to catch me coming back from where ever it is I've been. So don't come that.
Fascinating to see how Steve took this relatively raw unpolished character & worked it into the Count we know today! I’m not aware of anyone who can so completely transition into a character such as CAS! It’s genius for sure & if anything he’s even better live! Huge gratitude to Steve for years of mirth & mad cap antics! 👍
As much as this probably irks Steve to be out there it serves well as an example to others to keep with it, you're literally seeing him breaking CAS in here like a new pair of shoes, he's almost too young here, obviously nervously speeding through the act but given time it all came together, fascinating to see
