Wow, the Standells! Extreme cool band and song! A daring video though, Sir Heavenly Blue Orange! 😲 Luckily I'm an artist myself, so I'm used to something 😅!
Hello Heavenly Blue Orange, I'll take the plunge and ask you anyway. Is it possible for you to create one of your fantastic video's of a lesser known Dutch beat band or song like you did with The Bumblebees or Rob Hoeke? I would be very pleased! I have four suggestions for you: * Ro-d-ys - Waiting For A Cloud-Burst (1967) * The Gunners - Television (1967) *D5 (The Driftin' Five) - Hard Headed Baby (1967) * Q65 - Ridin' A Slow Train (1968) Cheers! ED 🥁👌
Thank You "Heavenlyblueorange", True Rocking Garage Tune By The Standells & Smiling Sex Kitten Ann Margaret Dancing Up A Storm...How Can A Guy Go Wrong?
Ann Margret's painting scene reminiscent of her sliding about in chocolate and beans in Timmy, by The Who a few years later... Never saw this before, probably where the director or writer got the idea...
Hi WinChun, Yes...this "fluid art paint dancing" deal is very close to what Ann Margaret performed in "Tommy"...which was for sure a tripped out unusual film in 1975. I had to see it. All the singer's and Ann made it a must see. I say "tripped out"...because of ...This movie 🍿 had zero spoken words in it...only singing..yet still told a story that could be understood (esp. if you played The Who's album a few times first) The movie shows a tv screen first showing a commercial about Laundry Soap...then Ann turns the channel...then a commercial about Chocolate Candy comes on...once again Ann turns the station...and then the 3rd commercial is about a Can Of Beans. When Ann throws her champagne bottle through the tv screen...that's when the Soap Suds...followed by The Chocolate then the beans. Some of us stoners...didn't put that together at the time. Unique movie indeed. Thanks.
