Gachagua holding a parallel press conference with the president and disclosing that NIS failed to indicate in intelligence reports to the president about the protests and also disclosing in the same press conference that 12 intelligence officers had been transferred turning NIS into useless shell. Is this not gross misconduct? To add insult to injury he lied because there is no way 12 officers can be the only competent officers out of thousands of officers. Gachagua is telling all and sundry including terrorists that Kenya’s intelligence service is full of incompetent people. To make it worse Gachagua seats in the top most security council in Kenya where Haji whom he told everyone is a useless quack is a member and presents critical reports. You cannot criticize your intelligence service in public, raise your concerns at your security council meetings or with the president. What’s next disclosing military secrets and criticizing military in press conferences? There is no worse misconduct than disclosing security secrets for political purposes. Even though Gachagua opponents are on a looting spree doesn’t mean what Gachagua did against security forces should be encouraged or excused.
