My grandmother came on a boat from Italy at 16 with her 2 younger sisters when in new York harbor saw the statue of liberty they cried and started a new life God bless America
My dad came to America from Holland with his parents and siblings when he was 3 or 4 years old, just after WWII. They moved to California and became dairy farmers. Had they not, my dad would never have met my mom and I wouldn’t exist. Crazy how life decisions make such a difference in our lives and the lives of others.
@@hinoon762 I hate singers who showboat and put their own spin on the song. Not only it is disrespectful and unpatriotic, it shows how much they can suck too.
The land of the free and the brave. As a former Ghanaian citizen the United States gave me everything I needed to succeed in life. I will forever love and defend this nation ❤❤❤
sir, I very humbly hope you approve of my rendition, tried to play it as nobly and respectfully as possible ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N2kNDmoYnP0.html
I'm Brazilian, but I do love the American anthem. I think this is one of the most beautiful national anthems in the world! And I love The United States Army Field Band. I see their live streams as often as I can!
I play this song every day early in the morning as I go up to my family flag as I salute and pray for those who served our country in the past and those who are serving in the present. All military people should be treated with a great amount of respect; God bless them all and God bless America 🇺🇸
My family can be traced back to some of the original colonies, and this is a beautiful song to hear as an American. It doesn’t matter when you came here, all that matters is you are here and an American
I agree also my (a ton of greats) grandpa moved from Austria to Georgia when It was still a colony back in 1715 but my whole family lives in Florida now
Awesome story, and I completely agree that it doesn't matter where you came from. All that matters is that you're here and an American. My great grandma (through my paternal grandfather) and her parents moved to Pennsylvania from Russia. They fought the Bolsheviks when the empire was falling, and I am so thankful that they came to America!
Wow I didn't know that I would get a heart! Thank you United States Army Field Band! And thank you for serving! I'm really looking forward to joining the Ground Forces!
I am from Korea. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the proud American soldiers who protected our Republic of Korea. I love America so much and I hope to go there someday 🇰🇷 ❤️ 🇺🇸
I am not American but there performance gave me goose bumps .. I hate it when Americans sing their anthem solo ..This is the best way to sing your anthem
LONG LIFE TO THE USA!!! Stronghold of Freedom and Democracy, in the past as well as in the future of the world. I will always stand on America's side. No Russia, no China, no Merkel-Germany can or will ever substitute the USA.
PS: I would like to see a real European Union, a federal United States of Europe, BUT only as a loyal ally of the USA. NOT a fourth German Reich with German hegemony and distancing itself from the US, for sure.
They gave a beautiful, inspirational, memorable concert in Maryville, TN. last Sunday. When they're in your area, do yourself a favor and go hear them!
Spanish version PLZ?
I hope the star spangled should be translated into japanes, if it is it would sound like this: おお、夜明けの早い光で、あなたは見ることができると言う、 夕暮れの最後のキラリと光る光景を誇らしげに歓迎しました 危険な戦いを通してその広い縞模様と明るい星は、 私たちが見た城壁は、とても勇敢に流れていましたか? そして、ロケットの赤いまぶしさ、爆弾が空中に爆発し、 私たちの旗がまだそこにあったことを夜通し証明しました。 星条旗はまだ波打っていますか 自由の国と勇者の故郷ですか?
Nothing beats a stirring sound of an Army band - Excellent, Brilliant Ex Australian ARMY Digger - 1977 - 1983 Australian Army (Royal Australian Regiment)
Bravo. If only each time it is to be sung before an event this was played to whoever was doing it and they were told "This is how it goes, this is how you will sing it"
I can't stop listening to this great performance. Our National Anthem brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. ❤ God blees America! ..... from Fort Worth, Texas
WHD Studios Using the veteran ancestors as an excuse is stupid. You’re not superior to any of us from your roots. When you stand for the anthem, you’re choosing to respect our country and those who fought to defend it. Or in other words, you’re disrespecting your old man and woman. They fought for you and our nation.
For those wanting to listen to a magical rendition of this anthem, go to whitney Houston's super bowl rendition. I promise you it makes you feel emotions you haven't felt in a long time.
