I really like all the thought that has gone into plumbing the new chemical trailer. Your “crew” works so well together. Everyone has their strengths, and it makes everyone look great. 👍👍👍
Looking at all the equipment you guys use to farm, helps me to remember my Grandfather's farm and his two mules, his middle buster and his drag harrow. We planted by hand and harvested the corn by hand. Then grind the corn for cornbread and chicken and mule feed. He cut his hay with a mule pulled Sycle bar mower. We used pitch forks to load the hay on a mule pulled wagon the use the pitchforks to put the hay in the barn. It was nothing but hard work.
That 5" hole saw looks like a wrist breaker! I love what you're doing with this new water trailer. The pump will make the reloading job go much more quickly.
I see a future subsidiarie Larson Industrial Trailer Fabricators. Custom models only. Duggo on drilling, Erik on fabricator ideas, Chet on camera, Brodie on welding. What a future company it will be. 👍👍👍
This is one of the best ones. Really renjoyed watching the tralier come together and the how experience allows for clever design. Except for cutting hard timber with a large hole saw and small drill. Funny stuff. Great work
Be sure to add an air line to your service hose to sprayer hose real to clean the product out of you hose to the sprayer, to reduce weight when wrestling the fill hose.
Doing a great job thinking out how to make the trailer as efficient fo you as possible. By the way Congratulations on your engagement to Your Lovely Lady😊
Big Swede I’m guessing the shoulder problem is a Rotator Cuff issue. Might want to get it checked out before it gets worse. The project looks awesome guys. Something to be proud of. Congratulations 🎉 Chet on the Engagement🎉🎉❤
Yes, Rotators heal very slowly. Suggest a book 'the 7 minute rotator cuff solution' by Joseph Horrigan D.C & Jerry Robinson (you may need to buy a used copy cause I think it's out of print) for pre-emptive conditioning you all should pay attention to. Be well! :)
When you are putting hoses onto fittings, spray the inside with WD-40, The oil in it will help it slide on the fittings. Great content as usual. Stay safe for everyone.
Get a propane burner and put a pot of boiling water to immerse the end of hoses before putting on couplings. Also a little dish soap on the coupling helps it slide on.
DIDN’T get to respond to last video Dougo but you are absolutely right about managing that government land & deer. That land care should be done by local folks not thousands of miles away. If just a portion of it was farmed & was paid to leave it unharvested for feed for wildlife or harvested for the food shortages in the US. LOVED THAT TRAVELING VIDEO. Sometimes it’s good to challenge our intellectual logic 🚜🚜🚜👍👍
Hi, Maybe add a port on the discharge side of the pump to wash off the tractor tracks. With the right type of fire hose and nozzle you use it anywhere and not go to the stream to wash off the mud.
The years of wisdom come out when the hole saw/ drill kick starts. Lots of thought going into that trailer. Chet your right putting in valves before saves on headaches later.
After you get done with drilling the holes. Take the time to put a small round over around the hole to keep the wood from chipping and protect the hoses from rubbing
you guys could invest in a electric-magnet drill it cuts through steel like butter and for the cost it saves time and your arms from the stress god bless
Chett that little banjo pump will pump 500 gallon per minute?? That's a Crazy amount per minute for such a small single stage pump ! I have to go back and listen to that part again ! It's getting there Chett your vision is Almost Complete Buddy!!
I went back and listened to what you were saying trice Chett and if that's the case Technically has come a tremendous way...for example (I was a Firefighter for 30 years on Long Island NY) I joined the dept in 86 and we had just received a brand new 86 Pierce Arrow. She held 500 gallon of water on board. It was had a top of the line Wateris 2 stage (Pressure and Vollume) and it was a 500 GPM Pumper ! I'm not a big fan of Pierce the company But that was a great custom built Fire Engine! So that's why I was so surprised when you mentioned the new Banjo Pump could do the same...Wow times are a changing!!
Hey Chet. Like the build. @ things. First, putting the rack in front of the cage blocks your sliding door. Have you thought about that when you have a pallet of Chem there. Second, if I'm not wrong cant you rotate the pump housing 90 degrees so the discharge is coming out the side not the top? Love the build and the channel. Keep up the good work.
I spray both the inside of the hose heavy and coat the barb of the cam lock fitting with spray lube like pentro 90. And they slip on, but they both need sprayed well.
