I enjoy watching cotton harvesting videos. I worked with Deere design engineers back in the ‘90’s helping develop new parts like the row unit covers, partially my idea. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.
I have no experience with any type of farming but I always thought cotton farming looked cool. I’m just a average suburban boy with no experience. Do you have and advice on how to learn to start cotton farming? I’m really starting to look into it. Although I come from a long line of farmers and most of my family is I grew up in Virginian Suburbs. Well the rest of my family is from Texas and Louisiana.
Ive probably asked this before but do yall do any alfalfa? Been thinking about trying it here but the investment seems steep for something im unsure of doing lol.
Nice Video, I see you all run strippers, we are in Tennessee, and they use pickers here. Do you know why that is? It looks like the stripper does a better job to me🤔
Depends on the type of cotton that you have short stubby cotton is better for strippers. And picker bales will actually grade better. And once it freezes really hard pickers start doing a worse job
