Probably the most shocking jaw dropping book I’ve ever read was the Arctic Grail by Pierre Burton, it’s about the explorers of the northwest passage and the Inuits that lived there , brutal environment, brutal deaths and cannibalism.

Woah! A very related book is Super Imperialism: The Origin and Fundamentals of U.S. World Dominance by Michael Hudson (economist) it's about exploitation of the global south/ third world countries and how these western financial institutions perpetuate the conditions of the underdevelopment overexploitation of the 3rd world. Which makes you question a lot?! Just subscribed from history books video.
