The lesson to be learned from 2023, in my opinion, is that reviewers should exercise restraint and avoid ruthlessly tearing into creators' work, leaving it in ruins. There is a crucial distinction between critiquing absolute rubbish deserving of scorn and offering constructive feedback to creators who have poured their heart and soul into a product, even if it has perceived or real flaws. While constructive criticism may be warranted, making vile inferences and reveling in a cult of personality have no place in magic reviews. Some creators have gained notorious reputations for releasing subpar magic, and reviewers play a crucial role in keeping the community informed about them. It is equally important for influencers to differentiate between such creators and those who are genuinely acting in good faith and earnestly presenting their magic. Reviewers should not only focus on critiquing products when creators miss the mark but should also acknowledge and appreciate their successes; neglecting this aspect poses a problem for the industry. When taking on the responsibility of reviewing and potentially influencing a creator's career, regardless of real or perceived internal conflicts, the goal should always be fairness, balance, and, above all, respect. In the age of cultural divisiveness, the global community, including the magic community, is a powder keg. Contributing to the frenzy of societal rage for validation demonstrates a lack of social graces and empathy not only for the targeted creator but also for the audience. Content creators or influencers who exploit the darker side of human nature will not receive my patronage.

Magic is very harder to pull off then it was years ago due to the Internet. Some ppl just don't want to know the secret and others do.. the ones that do have a different look at magic then ones who are just impressed..

I get what you are saying about Ellusionist, but you miss the absolute disaster that was How To Read Minds 2. So saying Ellusionist did so great is just not correct in my opinion

My experience in the magic community in 2023 was not great. Not only do we need a solution for people ripping off creators, we need a way to hold creators accountable for stealing from their customers. My current example is daniel madison. People waiting years without seeing their orders and just excuse after excuse. I've been waiting a year for a deck from him. Theres literal reddit threads dedicated to it. Theres people in the magic industry burying their heads in the sands ( a particular reviewer has been asking for people to sub to Daniels channel) and it just leads to more people being potentially victimized. When the little guys have no voice, its up to people like you and others to call attention to it. But creators should not be taking customers money, leave them in a lurch for years make excuses and continue to release more products without fulfilling the orders from previous customers. Its stealing and it is wrong. Maybe its something you can help with, because others are turning a blind eye. Idgaf about a deck of cards, but the principle of the matter. Don't steal from the people who pay your bills.

and its ridiculous that I have to pay $22 a month to his patreon, to hear any news about my order (paid for separately on his site). He has no way of getting in touch. Its such a slimy tactic.

I have wanted to do a deep dive on the ongoing Madison situation because it seems like so many people are waiting on orders. I (along with many others) am still waiting on the promised 'RU-vid Advocates' that I doubt will ever happen

I think the issue of DEX has been answered by the continued silence from Lloyd. I too would be embarrassed if I took £65.00 from someone and handed out a gimmick that fell apart. Can you imagine buying a car and for them to tell you that if you do want mirrors with your car then you will likely find them in any household. Here are some instructions to make some mirrors for your car. Now If there isn't anything else, I'm off to the bank.

Yeah, I dunno. I think the adhesive issue is minor. To me the only thing that matters is that it's fast and a single pocket. I once came up with an index that used four pockets... I used it twice. As a utility device it doesn't bother me much. A carpenter will buy a table saw and still have to make jigs to get the job done. It's good if it works for you. If not ... ? Your argument is compelling though.

Continued silence? You seem to have forgotten what happened or be, at best, misinformed. In my exposé of David; I carefully, calmly and clinically presented 10 irrefutable facts with evidence for each instance to prove that David lied about myself, my product and also his viewers, again. My closing words on the matter was that unless David apologized for lying then I would not respond to him. I also said that as he is a narcissist and bully, my prediction was that he’d be able incapable to apologize or admit guilt and and instead he would double down and dig a deeper hole for himself. My stance; No apology, no response. We all know what he chose to do. I never went “silent”. I remained a man of my word. DEX is one my proudest ever creations. Especially considering I had the honor of working jointly with Javier on it. We said in the build up BEFORE release that it would split opinions because its ugly and is not going to look how some people envisaged but ultimately, and most importantly, it 100% does what its supposed to. We chose function over style and we’d choose that every single time. The emails and ongoing longevity of the product and the outpouring of appreciation form DEX users globally that comes into our inboxes daily is a proof of that. And as for running to that bank. I work for Murphys. I don’t get royalties on product. DEX was a passion project that myself nor Javier earn from. This was all explained in my exposé video. It might be worth giving it a watch to learn more about this entire subject. I know facts don’t fit some of David’s supporters narratives but unfortunately those are not issues I’m able to help with. Don’t mistake my integrity for embarrassment. My head is and can be held high after and throughout the drama that David started. With respect, Lloyd.

I cant stand sean devine , blatantly teaches other people's work without permission, just picks up a loves magic book for example steve beams semi automatic tricks vol 3 (or whatever) and teaches stuff from it .Steve beam doesn't benefit in any way but Sean does..I want all his videos taken down the man is stealing imo

talk about David Copperfield i read the Epstein doc and as i google his name i found multiple allegations non related to Epstein hold ur community accountable this isn't right
