I hope Yannis nothing but success. He deserves more views. Chrissy is killing it but Yannis was just as funny and important in History Hyenas. The best podcast of all time in my book 🤷🏻♂️

In “Bay Area” We all from “Da Bay” If you born here you speak with “blackish inflection ” Some say you must speak the language to fully claim the culture. Otherwise they considered you a decedent without the culture. Like how Africans from Africa look at American Blacks who have been here for generations. Hate to break it to Normand but I'm a plumber that deals with commercial plumbing, residential plumbing, sewage, septic tanks, the most disgusting shit, repiping peoples houses, digging 20-30ft trenches by hand to run a new mainline, hard working blue collar shit... and I still got anxiety and depression. Lol. I think its mostly technology. It definitely effects people with excess time on their hands more but it also doesnt completely discriminate.

51:01 😂 that's exactly what I feel like when I was in school as a closeted ex-muslim/atheist. Every day we had to assemble and read multiple short quranic verses. Fridays and special ceremonious days was the worst because we had to read the long ass Surah Yaasin. Which would take 40 minutes (at least) and then continue with the small verses etc. A whole hour of mumbling Arabic crap none of us understood because we don't speak Arabic is southeast Asia. That's why that was funny as hell because I can totally relate with Mark.
