From one who has lived it, every name on that wall was someone's brother, father, son. Never feel embarrassed by your tears; it just proves you're human.

Thank you for this Tasha! My Dad was at Omaha Beach in WWII and I am a Vietnam Era Veteran and these songs always make my eyes leak, Love your reactions, God Bless you and God Bless America...
Thank you very much for serving our country during the Vietnam War. You should all be seen for the heroes you are, who fought an important fight, expertly and fiercely, outdoing the enemy at every turn.
I remember first hearing this when The Statler Brothers sang it on the variety show they had in the 90s. My dad was a big fan of them, so I regularly heard it growing up and got to see them perform it live on their farewell tour. It hit harder when I was getting ready for my first deployment.
Thank you for reacting to the Statler Brothers! They need to be rediscovered! They have 40 years of too many incredible songs to count. They tell stories, turn phrases, can make you laugh, and as you discovered, make you cry. They are legends on and off the record! Elizabeth - My Only Love - Too Much on My Heart - Am I Crazy?- Do You Know You Are My Sunshine? - Silver Medals and Sweet Memories - We Got Paid by Cash - Shenandoah - Holding On - Look At Me - A Place on Calvary - I'll Take Care of You - Bed Of Roses - Flowers On The Wall - Less of Me - My Darling Hildegard - Quite A Long Long Time - You Can't Have Your Kate and Edith Too - The Best I Know How - Forever - Class of 57 - Monday Morning Secretary - Woman Without A Home - I Was There - I Don't Know Why ... Are just a few songs to consider reacting to. Love and miss these guys. Hope you'll go down the rabbit hole with them. You won't regret it.
Don't forget The Great Pretender and Noah Found Grace in the Eyes of the Lord. I grew up on those songs -- my Dad would put their gospel album on every Sunday morning while we were getting ready for church.
So… I’m not American - y’all are super patriotic. Like no other country on Earth. My grandad fought in Africa for the British Army and never spoke about it. Only reason I know he did is because there is one single picture of him in valour stepping off the boat.
Yup, lost a great uncle by gas in WW1 my gramma's brother, my gramma's brother on the other side Battle of the Bulge made it home. My dad was WW 2 made it home. I enlisted quitting highschool in 72 and made my tour in the gulf of Tonkin. So yeah I guess that we're proud of sacrifice of our time to our country. Who else can you count on if you don't do it yourself.
Hi Tasha, great song, great group, and great reaction. This is a later Statler Bros. song from the early 90's? Their earlier stuff is really good also. " The Class of 57 " is a good song too, but a really fun song of theirs is " Flowers on the Wall ". Have a great Day!
You crack me up - I loved your “Oh no you all” when you realized this was gonna be another emotional journey! 😊 You are so down to earth, real, and just… delightful. Such a wonderful take you had on this and how we should be appreciative of the blessings we have in this country. Recalibrate was such a good word choice for this.
Great Job( .Ms. Tasha..) and yes we all need to reset and be thankful for this great Country that we live in.and as I sit in my Chair and think of all the Millions veterans around the World who have given there life so we can be free..Freedom Comes at a Big Cost. God Bless all.
I'd love to see you react to "The Father, My Son, and The Holy Ghost" by Craig Morgan. It's a beautiful and personal song. You can really feel Craig's emotions through it.
this song always makes me cry.. tim mcgraw’s song if you’re reading this is beautiful as well.. thank you for your heartfelt teactions. God bless you!!
Some woman wrote to Dear Abby, asking how much she should charge her son,who was coming to live with them afrer returning from Vietnam. Abby's reoly was " It wont break you to give him a break." Several nmothers replied wgat i was th7nking. " That woman ought to get down in her knees and thank God that she's getting her son back, alive! I got my son back from Vietnam,in a pine box!"
Yes...again...I didn't listen bc I'm going out for lunch & just did my makeup...don't wear much but still don't want it smeared all over my face! I hope you're having a good week, Girl!
Tasha, The Statlers have several great songs that are not sad songs, "Flowers on the Wall" and "Don't Wait On Me" are only two of them. Also, have you reacted to "Warning Labels" by Doug Stone yet? It is not a sad song, but about sad songs.
How about listening to Trent Tomlinson one wing in the fire. Great country artist. Wrote several songs. I had a great songs and artist of country music
