Exploring The Steamers in Main Range National Park. We initially planned a 2 day hike including Lizard Point and Superbus, the Lincoln Wreck. Given how we were feeling on day 1 (approaching Lizard Point) we decided to turn it into a day trip. My health wasn't the best and we didn't like the idea of contending with 30 degree heat on day 2 which would have been a huge day. As it turned out it was a good choice as I came down with a cold. We turned around on Mt Steamer at the junction with the Steamer Creek Trail track.
