This is actually a hidden gem and I respect the crew, director and actors who decided to take on this project. This movie is in way deeper level than how it looked or summarized.
To me, this is an emotional movie.Even though there were some explicit scenes, the movie has a big psychological message to the audience. Really respect to the crew of the movie for their professionalism.
Ok....i respect everyone's opinion....for me....it's not just a movie....Most of the times we must read behind the lines and what we see....First of all, congratulations to the actors they nailed they're roles, and that was not easy....also the work of director....he did for me perfect job....This was from a manga and they decided to do a movie....This movie isn't for everyone.....For me at the end they cured each other...with twist way...What is important...To live even in your darkest days....If we see the movie again and read again what the actors said, maybe we will see this movie with a different eye....and if you conect what happened to the doctor's lover and how the doctor act....in a twist way....both of them accuses they're selfs for what happened in beloved ones lifes.....So....I respect everyone's opinion....Most of the times Japan has a twist away to say some things, not only in movie also in series......These two actors are so professionals, they study they're roles so well and perfect....and these roles aren't easy....Be well everyone ....
So so happy to see this is getting new recognition!! This is the type of movie that will such mixed reaction!! When I watched it for the first time I was shocked at how crude and explicit it is!! The "moral" behind this is understood as the movie progresses...This is definitely not your normal BL movie...will be happy if it gets the recognition then it will get full eng subts!!
@@GagaOOLalaOfficial It takes an open mind to understand and accept that there are people who don't fit the frame of what's considered "normal".It has a relatively good storyline and plot. The acting is impressive!
This is literally a hidden gem. It's also an emotional movie for me. This movie is way deeper level than how it looked or summarized. Although some explicit scenes were not easy to handle type but I loved this movie so much. The Actors and the Director did a absolutely brilliant job. Worth watching!!!
iMO finally a movie the really portrays actual relationship under such theme and the depth that goes along with it, coz at times some other movies with similar theme didn't go into such depth with open and honest portrayal of characters. Kudos to the whole crew and the team, together with the director and script writer, actors. One of the rare gem that came out from BL, queer cinema.
Although some of the explicit scenes were flabbergasting, overall I love this movie so much. It covers a deep meaning. Tbh, the ending scene was beautiful to me and I feel like XXX was portrayed as a rope to show the meaning of the whole movie. The main casts acting was astonishing. One of the best actings I’ve ever seen. Also, the violin/piano theme song was so wonderful. I hope I could learn to play the song. Thank you so much for making this masterpiece.
Extraordinary movie … massively confronting but I can see the purpose of it once the story gets fleshed out (pardon the pun there). I have watched it a few times - it is a powerful story in many ways … even life affirming in its strange way.
This movie took me out! A lot of people didn’t understand it because a lot of Japanese BL movies are too deep for them compared to other countries and a lot of them are very erotic. Japan is killing it with the BL movies. They started the genre and are the best at it. I saw an interview with the main character and the guy who was tied up most of the time in the beginning said he was so shy to undress in front of everyone at first. But then he’d just strip down like it was nothing once he got on set. 😂
For me this movie is everything. Yes, it was dark but I'm not gonna lie, the actors in this movie nailed their character. For y'all who love to watch a dark movie, I really recommend this one. Remember, this movie has 'sexual abuse' , 'tortured' , 'rape'. So watch it on your own risk. The ending is pretty nice too. Highly recommend for y'all who love watching dark movie ❗👍🏻
@@k-addictt6315 oh alott, some of my fav is 'Not Me' ( Thai bl), 'The shortest distance is Round' (Japan bl) and 'the effect' ( Thai bl) these are all highly recommend!!
Ok..for some maybe this movie seems to be provocative sick or hardcore. Not gonna lie. It is HARDCORE. It is rape and bdsm included.if you are not into rape,if you are easily offended too sensitive and can't stand it,then do not watch.Believe it or not,it had a relatively good storyline/plot.The acting impressed the hell out of me.Perhaps not due to overwhelming talent but anyone brave (and crazy enough) to take on these roles and convincingly pull them off. It takes an open mind to understand and accept that there are people who don't fit the frame of what's considered "normal".This movie shows how you can find love in such rare places.
Very powerful and intense movie. I saw the director's (?) cut before Eng Subs were added and all I had to go on was the incredible emotions and actions of the actors. It filled me with many different types of feelings and had me spell bound. Great actors and director, good movie, good ending. 💓 Now that it has Eng Subs, I want to see it again and learn what I might've missed!
ok so i just saw the movie and despite everything that's going on..uhm yeah, it is a really meaningful and deep concept that i feel not everyone can decipher. The way they portrayed this "fight" with the self, and how the man eventually doesn't give up on his life, and the doctor's mind is what really surprised me. I have lots of respect for the actors and everyone else behind the scenes and.... even if it's not my type of movie, i can say it was refreshing to see something different lol
Powerful movie, thought provoking and emotional. I loved it so much. The acting is tops, too. I could have never imagined that a dark film like this one would involve me so much. Highly recommended 👍
I just finished watching this. All I can say is applause to the actors and crews working with this amazing movie, it was hardcore yes, contains r4pe bdsm, not for everybody. The scene where the doctors partner commit suicide really brought me to tears.
Going from Thai high school/college BLs - even the Japanese Seven Days BL - oh my. Lol. This was such a SHOCKER. Didn't understand the movie, having never read the manga. Dark and horrifying.
This was such an intense, disturbing and heartbreaking film. Absolutely remarkable. I followed these two characters on their journey and felt relieved at the end because I realized that none of the emotions they were experiencing were alien to me.
Really beautiful dark movie!. As dysfunction and messed up it is. They gave eachother a reason to live. It's not supposed to be romantic or sexy. The movie is very deep, and the acting and emotions and directing are all amazingly portrayed. Definitely not for everyone. But still a masterpiece.
I watch it when it first came out on Netflix so of course I had no subtitles to go on. I just had to take the context of what was happening in the scene, which kind of made it more powerful. But I am happy to have subtitles now. I did really wanna know what they were saying 😅😅
for me this is the best BL movie that I have ever watched. Everything about this movie is fantastic and at the same time intense. The plot is well-written, the actors and the crew really made justice. I really like this kind of BL because it is not typical story like puppy love or the generic BL plot. This is in another level, it talks about perspectives, problems, societal pressure, well-being, suicide, and most importantly LOVE. The build-up, chemistry between the two actors, and the sex scenes are phenomenal. If you watch this, you need to have an open mind and think about the message that it wants to portray. I REALLY LOVE THE TWIST WHERE THEY'VE BECOME THE COMFORT AND MEDICINE FOR EACH OTHER. I HOPE THERE'S A PART 2 OF THIS MOVIE. I ALSO WANT TO COMMEND THE ATMOSPHERE OR THE AMBIANCE, IT'S GLOOMY THAT'S WHY YOU CAN SENSE THAT IT IS A HEAVY DRAMA. NEXT IS CINEMATOGRAPHY AND THE TEAM OF COURSE. BEST BL INDEED.
I am hook and will always be hooked! I didn't read the manga but seeing this movie, I am already in love! I just love it, in every aspect! The actors, their roles, their acting, hands off! Hats off! Whatever! You can't just go around and bitching abt it, if you're as open minded as everybody who loves it, then you'll understand!
I have watched it a long time ago... It makes u sad, shocks, disgusts, angers, sympathises, terrifies and then makes us too emotional and in the end makes us smile with affection and understanding ❤️
I read the manga and loved it and when I saw they did a live action movie, I wasn't sure how it'd be. Usually Japan sensors the heavy stuff, so I was quite surprised and then flustered at how... ahem detailed it was. I was so embarrassed 😳 I had to pause and compose myself...and once I finished the movie, I went back to some of those 'scenes' to study. The actors did a wonderful job!! I wouldn't be able to do such as I'd be laughing from my nerves. Now, the relationship of the doctor is a bit different from the Manga. But. Overall, I enjoyed this and turned many shades of red and enjoyed how they brought the anguish to life from the Manga.
@@csml4519 In the manga, the doctor doesn't lose a lover to suicide but his own brother. Also, it's not that his brother and the guy he saves look the same, but they just had the same name. They still end up getting together and such though. They just switched the relationship of the doctor. In the show, the doctor's lover, who looks the same and has the same name as the guy he abduct, is also a doctor. I suggest reading the manga and watching the movie. They are both good :3
Usually but not always, japanese movie really follow the rating, if it's R-18 rating they won't hold themselves, 😂 Search for R-18 one instead if you like adult scenes without censor
I liked the movie because it shows what can happen when you're put to the limit. The guy didn't fall in love with his r*per, he developed stolcom syndrom, which happened because his mind couldn't take the fact that he was being r*ped every day, so as a defensive mode he convince himself he was in love because that's the only way the brain could make him survive without going crazy, as a result he ended up being dependent of his kindaper so he couldn't bear the idea of losing him. This happens psychologically. It's twisted, it's wrong and he would need therapy for years and even after that I'm not sure he would be able to move on. Being sexually abuse I think it's the worst thing that can happen to a person. I wanted to throw up during the movie, but the way the psychological factor was treated regarding the victim was quite accurate. On the other hand, the doctor's character doesn't make any sense. The fact that he lost his lover (or brother in the manga) makes no sense for him to start abusing other people in that way. Like, the majority of time when something like that happens sociopaths kindap someone, because they want to replace the person who died, but they do not assult them, unless they've been assulted when they were kids. If that happened I would understand the character, I wouldn't justify it in any case, because a lot of people are abused and they don't do that. Again I strongly believe it's sick, twisted and before doing that you should probably kill yourself, but it would be understandable from a psychological point of view. His traumas don't aling with his actions and that made me hate him not only as a person, but as a character too.
You are missing the point.....before his boyfriend went home and ended his life, he had asked this doctor to just screw him in any way until he could feel alive again. He declined the request, and his boyfriend ended his own life. When the doctor, who is broken from the experience, keeps running into the victim in anguish and guilt and self hatred.....wanting to jump off a building....he follows him and stops him from jumping. He wants to redeem himself and uses this man's suicide wish to give him what his boyfriend had asked before. He screws him every way he can so that both of their minds are numb to anything except for mind-blowing nonstop stimulation. The guy is just gonna kill himself anyway, so does it really matter if he forces sex on the guy too? Nothing normal or healthy about either of them. Two very broken people that fate put together. And in the end.....they can feel release on many levels from their pain. I loved it. A lot of the time it gave me the feelings of watching A Clockwork Orange.
