The @steelers play #Renegade One Last Time This Season v. @Bengals for their Saturday afternoon game at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh #steelers #styx #nfl #nflfootball
After being a fan for 20 years, I finally got to experience this earlier this year when we faced the Browns at home on MNF! It was one of the most incredible moments I've ever experienced!
I was at that MNF game, as well as last night's. Such an amazing experience, I'm definitely going to be coming back once or twice a year for a game from now on! The flight across the country is brutal for me, but so so worth it!
Thanks! For about 15 years my friend and I took our kids to the home opener. He divorced his wife, and none of the kids wanted to go anymore. Now, my son has Bengals season tickets, and his daughter has Bears season tickets. UGH!! Friends don't let friends get divorced! HAHAHAHA!!!
As a Midest Steeler fan since the Bradshaw era, I'd love to experience this, but I'm also a stubborn old carpenter that refuses to pay ridiculous prices for tickets. Fortunately, I'm also OLD Hawkeye alum so my color scheme is simple! I LOVE "the wave" at Kinnick and was there for a lot of them, but dropped season season tickets there, for the same reason of prices got too stupid for me to justify.
Went to the first Super Bowl in New Orleans and four tickets were 80 dollars. Drove to the game from Pittsburgh and stayed with friends and had the time of my life for another 300 dollars. Now just my season ticket costs 1250 dollars. My how things have changed.
@@Nisfor372 My Dad and I went to the Indy 500 in the late 80's for $30 for good seats and drove a truck that probably got 9 mpg from a few states away..... still cheaper than local tickets now, but I di get my daughters to a few Hawkeye games (of many sports) and my oldest (Masters and killing it) declined a vacation with mom and took the "cash option" and bought Steelers/Packers tickets a few years back. Made my week!
Wins, hard work, and great effort. That's the Steelers I love, win or lose. Now can they do this 2 more weeks? If so, my prediction was 10-7, miss the playoffs. We'll see I guess.
And to think, if we could have just beaten 2 of the worst teams AT HOME, they would have had a chance to play Renegade multiple more times in the post season (Either way SO happy for Mason!)
@@jeremyward5366 Who said I wasn’t rooting for them? And I know we have a chance, anything can happen (we only had a 2% chance to get in a few years ago and made it). But I mean we won’t have a home playoff game this year, hence when when I say we don’t have a chance to play Renegade. If we could have just beaten the Cards and Pats we would be in outstanding shape
I've been a fan since Bradshaw, Bliar, Swan, and the rest of the Iron Curtain. This looked like the old Steelers who won 4 Super Bowls in a row, Finally the defense was eating the quarterback and taking him down to the ground, giving him no time to throw or look. The offense and Mason was producing the yardage to get into the end zone . They did good, keep it rolling. Super Bowl here we come
I am calling the Offense by A whole nother name, The Mason/Pickens Line. See on Interstate 81 when I come through PA going North or South a sign says Mason Dixon Line.
Thank you for posting. I too was at the game. First game in 30 years in Pittsburgh. Section 506 top row. The atmosphere all night was incredible. There was something to cheer about it seems like on every drive, offensive and defense. I had two moments that I will never forget: The pre game with the Pittsburgh Polka, goosebumps! I had the 45 record growing up and still have it today. Then there was RENEGADE!! I have wanted to experience this moment for so long. It was so worth it. And then the ultimate a turnover on the drive after Renegade. The Renegade story video says you haven't been to a Steelers game until you experience Renegade and the Steelers get a turnover! An absolutely incredible moment. Hands down one of the greatest sporting events I have been too. A great all round fan experience. A great game. And then at end of game the stadium playing Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, how cool was that.
I know a guy who's obsessed with the Steelers and so I've learned a little about the team. He's never been to Pittsburgh, I've been twice, and I'm in love... there's no city like it and no team like the Steelers... he made me a bit of an adopted fan lol
the only terrible yellow thing in my mind is the one thrown on my Lions last weekend in Dallas! ....Man this video is AWESOME! Steelers fans are awesome! #RESPECT
This never gets old. My family is season ticket and license holders for almost 30 years. I been going since I was a kid and I take my son to every home game. Love it.
I was there the first time this was played for the Steelers. It wasn’t at a game, it was actually at a pep rally for the 2005 playoffs that was at Heinz field.
I’ve heard so much talk about the Steelers fans/sideline / and entire stadium erupting with intensity when renegade is played. I looked it up to find this. Wasn’t hardly exciting at all. If I was on the opposing bench I would be laughing.
Big deal, win one game so what? This is really stupid mass hysteria. Steeles fans are real chumps. Pay $277 for a ticket to see a mediocre team coached by a mediocre coach but get to swing a Terrible Towel for a 2 minutes emotional rush. Brilliant marketing by the Steelers PR. Actually the fans should be booing and chanting "Fire Mike Tomlin" every time Renegade comes up. #FireMikeTomlin
Shows you how dumb you are champ. They do it every game to get the crowd and team fired up. Duh. Don’t be such a hater. Your mommy loves you. Make sure you clean up the basement
Yay!! Were a 500 team . My car only breaks down 6 months out of the year i only show up to my job every other day and the best thing is ED half the time i have sex! Im thrilled the steelers fans are now thrilled and getting chills from 500 teams
@ThompsonFoto12 I never could stand the renegade song it is corny. But I'll take your advice and seek help I know a good Dr. with a 50% success rate. Would the steeler franchise think they had a good season if only half the stadium was filled every home game.? My point was sarcasm H r w g s e l r h r w g.
They overplayed Renegade this year. Its suppose to be a "we need a big play song" but we were up by like 4 possessions. I guess its just a "Thing we do" now and not a "that magic moment" thing anymore.
