The Stereograms Lesson 

I've tried so many videos and "techniques", but to no avail.

I cant even get the dots to work -_-

Have a headache now.

The circles are what helped me the most. I tried different videos for like 10 minutes a night. I found this on the third day and the dots are what really helped. Awesome video

I just discovered it for myself. Wow! Amazing! watched few tutorials and this one is the best in my opinion. A little suggestion for those struggling to see: if you wear corrective lenses, remove them and try see without them. I am very near-sighted; stared for long time could not see anything, took of my glasses, and it was magic, the images changed to 3-d right away. Hope it works for you too :) Do not give up, once you learn how to see them, it is amazing.

these are amazing but a lot harder to do than the cross eyed technique. I feel bad for people can't see them because it's amazing how we are able to adjust our eyes to be able to see these patterns

hi my personal trick is to put the image pretty close to my eyes and then cross my eyes (: works 95% of the time. and i realised that once i saw the first image, the vid continued playing and i don't have to "recross" my eyes to see the next two images, which is pretty cool! i never knew that could happen :D

that's effin cool knowin that it can give you good abilities. i have just discovered my capability of watching those 3d images. it's been like only 2 days, and im lovin it. though it gives me pain in my eyes sometimes, i still move on and keep watchin. very amazing.

Very nice introduction. I see horse in gallop, waterlilly and two dolphins. Nice!

my dad showed me one of those magik eye books a while back and I could not understand what to do. then u showed the two dot turning into 4 then 3 dots. and then that first one with the horse and I was WOAH the image of that horse was perfectly clear. this is amazing. thanks for the video

I've been looking at Magic Eye books since I was in the 5th grade but if I stare at them too much they give me headaches.

All I see is 3D indentations that barely make out a figure. Is that what it's supposed to look like?

I can see all of them at the end! The first one is a Horse. The second one kinda looks like a flower. The third one are two dolphins.Thanks Nick. This video really helped!

gave it a shot after 15 years (when I got book with lot of stereograms, and I was frustated because I couldn't see it). I get it now, thanks a lot man. Wish I had the book now............

i can not see anything but the pattern. I am fed up with my friend who is trying to get me to see these pictures I can not see them, no matter how many "training" videos I watch od pictures I look at. WHATS WRONG WITH ME!! I want to see the picture too.

I remeber I was in elementary passing through the halls and there was one of these steriograms images on the wall. Though i didn't know at the time. Finally i stoped one day and stared and kept staring because I couldn't make out what was the point of the picture. Then I saw the image pop out. Ever since then I've loved these images. Im suprised how many people can't see them.

After about a hour of trying?... I can see the same weird image in 3D, and a shape inside of it.. but can't tell what shape :(

My eyes would always end up doing these cross-eyed, but now that I understand logic behind it. it's way easy. Thanks for explaining.

It's really easy to do this. Its like controlling the focus of your eyes just like a camera lens.

finally managed to see the first too in my life!! thx man!! here's what i did. i tried to see a shop that's outside my house. and to see it faster i first try to focus on the background! THANKS MATE

It is my first time seeing the shark. By trying the finger and focus adjusting, but when I close my eyes. It's hard to see it again.

I wear glasses, this is what was messing me up. Tried it without glasses and for the first time ever i could see the hidden image! Thanx! :D

It really helps to blink quickly while keeping your eyes focused behind the screen

In the past I could only see a very blurry 3d-shape out of this. Now with this video for the first time ever - I can see the 3D shapes completely focused! But they are inside-out! I only manage to do it now, if I put one finger in-front the screen, and then another one closer to me (like in the experiment in the start), and focus on the front-finger, then move the fingers away - I see very clearly, but inside-out! I don't know how to change it so it will be the desired 3D effect!

When I focus on the back one I can see through the one on front. Is that weird or is it normal?

Did anyone else see the yellow smiley face on the white backgroung during the intro orange screen? It had words at the bottom but I couldn't quite catch what they said.

all of them were inside out for me? could it have something to do with which eye is dominant, i find most of my focus comes from my left while looking at them

IDK if this is rigt but 1:22 the second row pattern has light green figures if I focus I can differentiate the color and see the rabbit

Try crossing your eyes a bit vary how much you do so until a sunken figure appears. To somewhat describe what you are looking for: Picture wet sand and you putting an imprint of your hand in the sand. Same concept except the patterns are the sand and your hand print is what you are looking for. Hope this helps :)

Marvellous art really, horse, rose and 2 dolphin

Horse, rose, dolphins. For some reason I have always been able to see them. Don't know how is it that no one, no one I know, except my mother, can see them.

A few people have mentioned that some of the images looked inside-out to them. This started happening to me as well, but I was able to fix it by temporarily looking at them upside-down. Not sure if that'll work for you, but try it out and let me know if it does.

I've consciously done these "tests" since I was a little kid haha

woah all these comments about how they cant get it... its really easy. just imagine u r looking somewhere far off. ur eyes will cross automatically and then u will see it. very nice tutorial thx!!

I can see all the 3D shapes, but i'm not sure what they are.. doesn't look like anything I've ever seen. Its really cool though, once your eyes come into focus you can clearly look around this 3D shape. Just try to relax your eyes and almost feel like you're going cross eyed to see it. Worked for me!

The stereograms were pretty easy for me because for some reason, whenever I concentrate on one thing, it creates two seperate images. I have no idea why this happens, other than that I wear glasses since I can't see things from far away...

so I can see 3d but I can't make out the shape am I still doing it correctly?

People say that they see them popping out from picture. Is it normal that i see them like inside? For me theyre like hole in monitor.

If u look at 2 identical images. You will see a third image in the middle that will be 3D. A steriogram has the same effect but with for images instead of 2 ti get more angles of animation to give a better effect

i can see many flips or many holes in one hole i c another flip or hole but i just can't make the outlines or is it supposed to b colourful?

what was the last one i saw it but couldent tell what it was

For what it's worth, if I may make a suggestion, adding an audio description rather than words over the stereogram would make it much easier to see.

I appreciate the effort put into this video, the examples about the dots and the fingers were extremely easy for me because i can control focus at will, but i have never in my 29 years, seen the alleged image on one of these stereograms, i just can't, I've tried short focus, long focus, keeping my eyes open for long, whatever, you name.it, I've tried it, never succeded tho. It is frustrating!

Just got it and wow that is cool The image put up that is easy looks kinda like an upside down hat with 4 curves

so which method I must use lol..the one when my finger is close or far?

I can't do it the regular way, but when I squint/both irises pointing to the nose instead of foreward, I see it, but instead of coming out, the image is like a hole in the picture. Anyway it's much easier

I like this stuff. So much to learn from the human body.

@danniboy361 You can go with your face so close to the image so u almost touch the screen with your nose, than just go away and towards the image and look like your looking something behind the screen then when the 3d image starts to take shape try to focus it!

after a while I start to see two monitors but i can't see the damn stereogram. It works whit my fingers, and sometimes I manage to see three dots instead of to but my eyes starts to hurt and I loose it.

last ones: a horse, bird's eye view of a flower, two dolphins.

I saw a horse, rose and two dolphins. I don't know if I'm seeing the right thing? They look pretty 3D in the way that they pop out of the pattern, but I don't know if I'm correct!

@Eternacht503 What I does is relaxes my eyes till it's all blurry and then BAM! I see it in a few seconds

OMG Thank you a lot. It took me a while but it finally works, I can see those images like "3D" (like the IMAX cinema, but just with my eyes). It's incredible. It's ironic, my dad is oftalmologist and never told me that this thing existed, maybe he didn't know, I will show him. 5/5. just a question, is this healthy? I mean, forcing the eyes to be able to see the 3D of these images?

I see it all inverse, like as if I'm looking at a hollowed out version of whatever its supposed to be. Is that what its supposed to be?

omfg took me 50 minutes but i finally did it! most well deserved 50 minutes of my life!

is my first time seeing this.. looks like after you 'lock on' to it will stay that way if you walk around the room, but only if you keep looking at the monitor/image the whole time. hehe, and so I tried it on all 120 collection of mine I had stored away for this very moment & seems to work very easily now..

i really need help i cross my eyes a little but the image gos into the picture instead of popping out

OMG I just did it! I was on Facebook taking silly quizzes and one was about these pictures. I thought it was a joke because I was seeing NOTHING. that was over two hours ago. since then, I've googled, researched, watched tutorials, tried everything to the point of stupid frustration. I figured I simply could not see it. but right as I was about to give up, I was staring without blinking, moving, breathing, or thinking for a few seconds. it was super creepy cause I felt my eyes shifting and moving. all of a sudden, I saw the image of the horse!!!!! it just popped up without me actively doing anything different. my problem before was that I had nothing "in the distance" to look at. my brain didn't want to let go of knowing inherently that it was a 2D image. I needed to know what one actually looked like in order to see it. so I'm going to try to explain: the picture and background will be the same colors as the beginning photo. the background kind of slaps into this solid wall like a painting.. it's like the background becomes a new 2D photo in itself while the 3D image pops up at you. something weird happened to me a little while after that... it seemed that I could make an identical hidden photo show up right beside the main one and then a smaller version on top of that.. like layers. does this happen to anyone else?

when i tryed to do the grey one i saw a thick blue line near the bottem...

So here's my problem. I can see stereograms no problem however all I can see is the outline and the 'depths' so i've always found it difficult / near impossible to identify just what the objects are in stereograms. Anyone have any advice?

Just a quick question i have a lazy eye (or squint as Americans call it) and i am unable to watch 3D movies and i'm having trouble seeing the images is it that i just need more practice or is it that my eye condition stops me from viewing them?

am seeing ''clover, horse, rose, dolphine'' right?

i think its because people want to see a picture and whilst concentrating on a background are concentrating on the image too.

Even tho this vid came out in 2008 I’ll still say it. It’s a box I can see it barely enough to recognize it

If you can't get it, look at a stereo gram using something with a reflective screen, like a tablet. Now look at your reflection in the screen, and it should help you see the image.

Snake, horse, flower, fish! I find this easy if you bring the picture close to the eyes and slowly move it away.
