Recently lost my bike to a double wammy no look lane change and stop sign runner, my body is healing quite well despite the two snapped wrists, the concussion, and the 11 broken ribs, unfortunately my beloved cb300r's frame wont heal the same way my bones do. No idea when I'll be able to scrpunge up enough money to afford another bike, it was a miracle I was able to afford the cb in the first place. So, for the time being, these wonderful videos are my escape from that situation, even though it breaks my heart everytime I remember I cant go for a ride myself.

I test rode one of these a couple days ago and it’s truly an incredible machine, it’s got the instant punch of torque the MT07 has with the highly strung sportiness of the MT09, only much more intense. Absolutely adored it ❤

Tried the MT10SP, was ok but went with the S1000R. More agile, faster, better brakes, more comfortable.

@@carloalbertoranzani8041The MT has less of a leaned position correct, but the electronic suspension on the S1000 is much better dampened. When set to soft, my S1000 just glides over bumps and potholes while the MT on soft is still rock hard in my opinion. I tried both and you are right, it is subjective but I ride them hard and long and its very noticeable.

It’s the best MT, I find it better than the MT10 that Schaaf rode in this video. I had a test drive with MT10 at MT Tour and I own a 2022 MT09 so I wanted to see what I’ve lost choosing MT09 over the MT10. I find the MT09 better, so in my oppinion the MT09 is the best from the MT range.

I find the MT-10 faster in acceleration but… the rear brake sucks, the whole bike si much stiffer ( you feel every bump in the road and it’s like you sit on wood) and has a sportier position than MT09 ( bent further on MT10 ) and I found the MT10 harder to lean than the MT09. It requires much more force to lean it… Only the rear tire is wider on MT10 than MT09 , 190 ( MT10 ) 180 ( MT09 ).

Beautiful sound Schaaf, not so much the gearbox though. I’ve owned many Yamahas and they all have that clunk sound feel. Solid though and rarely a missed shift or god forbid slipping back a gear.

Dieses Teil ist einfach pure Meditation auf 2 Rädern, nirgends kann ich besser alles vergessen wie auf so einem Hammer Bike. Selbst beim " Mitfahren " hier im Video stellt mein Inneres sofort auf tiefen entspannte " Alpha Wellen " um und ich konzentriere mich einfach nur noch auf die Straße und den Sound. Der pure Wahnsinn !

Airbox sound of the Transalp is similar to the MT 10's induction sound. Believe it or not. Of course, the MT 10 sound is mightier.

It’s a tough call, to much slip and it’s going to feel like a two stroke and the majority of riders are going to have to be experts on the braking side. It is setup for liability to offer engine braking, might be exciting in the rain though.

It's a hoping rear wheel due to the rapid downshift. Sometimes the slipper clutch apparently can't keep up

@@SchaafOn my mt10 the backwheel bounces and slides in a higher pitch tone if I reach the limit of the slipper clutch. Doesn't the vibration and clunking sound come from the on/off initialization of the brakes / ABS? Your last few MT10 Videos were by far my favourites!

Hi, I like your video’s and I’m even thinking of buying a CB500 from 1997 since I’m in need of an extra bike besides my old FT500. Now I have a bit of an impertinent question for you. It’s up to you if you want to answer it. Seeing one of your video’s I guess you’re rather tall, even have long legs. I’m tall (189 cm) and have an inseam of 36. I fucking love the CP4 sound sooooooo much, but the MT_10 is just too "casual" for me, imagine if Yamaha gave the mt-10 a tuono styling, sporty-naked. Literally a dream. But maybe I'll get one since the R1 is almost 30k €here (if there is any available at all in AT) The transmission is buttery smooth.

@@Schaaf Also der Motor ist ja echt ein Gedicht und allgemein ein tolles Paket, da will man gar nicht aufhörenn am Gas rumzuspielen. Die Konkurrenz mit S1000R und Speed Triple 1200 RS, die ich auch gefahren bin überzeugen aber auch und sehen dafür wirklich gut aus. Ich denke wenn sie das Design nicht so "kontrovers" gestalten würden, könnte ich nicht widerstehen. Aber aktuell läuft wohl alles auf die Speed Triple nächste Saison raus, der Dreizylinder ist nämlich genauso schön, nur halt auf eine andere Art und Weise. :)

I've seen it shake once and that was because I wasn't leant forward. With this kind of riding you definitely do not need a damper

Hi. isn't mode A (Pwr 1) too erratic? Can it be precisely controlled in such a setting? So far, I haven't ridden in this setting yet. From what I remember about Mt 09 mode 1, it was too sensitive to the throttle.

Klar wenn das Mikrofon direkt über dem Auspuff im Windschatten ist hört man was, aber als Fahrer ist das Ding sehr leise und langweilig. Probefahrt hat mich nicht überzeugt, gut ich fahr auch eine Superduke 2.0 😂 Video und Fahrt von dir natürlich wieder mal sehr gut 👍

bei der Power und dem Drehmoment muss man doch nicht dauernd in der 1. und 2. fahren!!! Hast schon deinen Crash am Ochsattel vergessen ? --> gehe es doch mal langsamer an😁.

Mein Crash hat genau NICHTS mit der Wahl meiner Gänge zu tun. Die MT zeigt dir am Display sogar an, wann du im idealen Drehmomentbereich bist. Den versäume ich 50% der Zeit, wenn ich auf so einer Straße fahr und nicht in die erste schalt. Wozu fährt man ein Motorrad mit so viel Leistung, wenn man sie nie abruft?

Muss man aber auch mit umgehen können. Wenn man schonmal einen Crash hatte, sollte man es vielleicht wirklich mal langsamer angehen und nicht über seinen Limit fahren. Das Fahren im Video wirkt ziemlich angestrengt was bspw. die abgehackten Bremsmanöver angeht....
