The story and legacy of the late Gov. Arsenio Arcello Quibranza 

Congratulations Quibranza Family, it was very informative and heart warming history. My late tatay Bobby's father the late city engr. Maximo u. Quiblat had a similar characteristic, his matra was like"i'd rather loose a friend, than honor" kanunay ang katawhan mauna USA pamilya.

My grandmother Deditha O. Manulat-Rosalejos was the godchild (inanak sa bunyag) of the late 1st lady of Lanao del Norte Mrs. Pilang Quibranza in Tubod , Lanao del Norte, who became "Miss Lanao del Norte 1975 " also was her sponsor during their wedding in Iligan City , Corpus Christi Church in 1979 with my late grad dad Benjamin B. Rosalejos , without the parents of the bride attendance. My grand mom being one of the Provincial Governor's Office staff, even 3 mo. before her graduation in college in 1975, later she transferred to the Philippine National bank in mid 1975 , then to NMYC- TESDA LN P.O. has witnessed how helpful his Ninong Arsing to most of his constituents in the province of Lanao del Norte in terms of seeking employment in the private companies in the city of Iligan and LGUs , endorsing newly graduates to various companies for employment bearing his signed Recommendations and they get employed . Later , there was a letter addressed to him, Thanking him for his recommendation as having accepted in one of the private company inspite of not being a college graduate. But he continued to work and study in Iligan City and later become a professional and has been promoted. And the late Gov. answered him that his letter of Thanks , "was like a lightning on noon time for him," for a thousand people , he has helped to find employment only one, who remembered to thanked him. And that was that man who wrote to him for gratitude. And there was one occssion that a mother came to his office and said, "Sir, sir graduate na akong anak ug pasar na sa board sa Nar" Mangayo mi ug Recommendation nimo, para makasulod ug trabaho.' The late Governor Arsing said, "Pun-e sab na ug S" imomg Nur " Yes, sir Nur -s diay " (for Nurse) and he laughed and wrote a Recommendation letter for her daughter.
