I don’t know what happened to it but the one and only time I went there parking were from $40-$75 and you had to pay to go to the beach!! That’s why I’m a stay my butt in Wildwood we’re parking from Five dollars to $15 it’s much bigger and the beach is free to go!!!
the middle class left in the 70s and it was a shell of its of former self from 70s - mid 2000s. (Movie City by the sea filmed there in early 2000s and thats what it looked like. But then it has since gone through revitalization and today ranks as one of the top beach towns again in NJ
