@@hollytaylor-reeves honestly for me, it's alot. He was my main influence in becoming a producer and artist. His understanding and implementation of melodic progression and chord selection and just all around music theory was amazing. If he made a melody. That melody was stuck in your head for weeks. He was so utterly talented and seeing my idol die at such a young age destroyed me. I miss him with every ounce of my soul. I would give 20 years of my life so he could live another 10. He helped me through so many problems and strifes. The power of his music is unmatched. Rest easy Tim.

Hi Nick, I want to say that absolutely every musician that Tim has worked with during his career has gradually affected his music. It may not be noticeable, but shy and quiet people try to change themselves in different ways. They try to show their personality to the world, so they start taking something from everyone and collecting a puzzle of their life. They learning the whole life and trying to find themselves. I want to express my gratitude to the people who worked with Tim and helped him to find his life route.

Tim has had such an impact on my life in every aspect. It was Tim who sparked my interested to produce music, and when I'm out of musical ideas or have no motivation, listening to an Avicii track always wakes me up. When I'm feeling down, lost and afraid, listening to any Avicii track always brings me back to comfort. He is also my biggest inspiration. Cried watching this video. Back in time when "I could be the one" came out I was just a teenager that loved electronic music. I became an Avicii fan since I discovered him. That music is the music of my life. It's sad to no have him with us, but I'm grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy all his art. Nicktim ❤️

I listen to this song everyday.. it’s always been my go to when I’m feeling down.. I remember around the time of its release I got hear Tim play it live and I always get goosebumps and remember that feeling of how I felt in that moment.. it’s a truly special song and Tim’s memory will live on through his music.

fun fact: this was one of the very first songs i heard in EDM that got me into EDM. without this song my life would've been very different. also i thought Nicky Romero was the singer lol (i know i can't be the only one). this song holds an incredibly special place in my heart and i dreamt of hearing it live with Avicii. I never got to see Tim live before he passed, but i saw Nicky Romero at Ultra Europe in 2019 after 6 years of listening to this song and honestly i teared up during it. still one of my favourite memories to this day.

Ik was een hardstyle dj voor 8 jaar, tot het moment dat ik ziek werd. Toen moest ik ermee stoppen. Mijn 2e baantje in het revalidatieproces was afwassen op het KIM (marine), om fysiek weer sterker te worden. Ik weet nog heel goed dat dit nummer elke dag op de radio was. En elke dag gaf dit nummer mij vlinders in mijn buik. En dat is tot op de dag van vandaag nog steeds zo. Het nummer heeft mij zeker geholpen door die periode heen te worstelen. Nu ben ik gelukkig weer gezond en volop bezig in de studio😁 Leuk om het verhaal achter het nummer te kennen.
