As someone who just started Smite in the past year, I love these Smite history. A video idea for you based on what I've heard is why was Adapting considered to be one of the best players before he retired. Now that he's back I'm even more curious.

I had the pleasure of watching this one live. I just randomly decided to watch the SPL that day, and I was astounded at the relic choices in the beginning. Rest of the match went about as well as I expected

i forget the teams at this point but i recall a similar game. an spl team was about to be eliminated (like we're talking they're 0-2, few to no kills in those games) and decided to pick all assassins in the last game to throw. they lost of course and i remember it drew it's own controversy with people saying it was a poor show of sportsmanship.

I remember some comments on the original(edited) video saying that "they created the talaria invades" and "Dust can now say he has a record of only have first blood" those were the times.

I honestly watched this live and never expected it to be talked about and rewatching it as many times as I have over the years since

I was watching this live when it happened and my thought was: "The pros are just like us!"

Loving these videos Inter, im relatively new to smite, coming over from playing dota 2 for 10 years and i've missed loads of SPL related content its great to get these "catch-up" videos.

To be fair the Envy org as a whole at the time was dropping all their teams, The ones they have now actually win things.

If there was a DC, why was the game not remade? Was it just too far in at that point? Edit for anyone asking the same questions, Omega seems to have DC'd pretty early, as the surrender was at 8 minutes.

to be fair, a DC should have made the first game null and void, not much skill needed to win a 4v5 if all players in lobby are at the pro level.

I just watched the 667 fiasco and now I'm starting to think that team Envious was lowkey cursed lol

Well, I think hirez handled it wrong at the first place. If the player disconnected, not for ragequit reasons, the game should be repeated, if it was hardware malfunction is even more reason to do so. How would you expect someone to take serious an event that doesn't care about technical issues and promotes unfair victories like this?

A daily way to play in smite to me has been put into the SPL truly theses are the times we wise would happen more.

Tbh Lowrez servers are absolute dogshit so I honestly wouldn’t place it past him getting DCd by those servers since they don’t even own the servers they use.

Common smite casual lobby

I mean, anyone who has played smite knows its the Low Rez servers lol.... Yea this was super salty and thrown but I still believe it was their crap servers. Even in todays in house studio games they have to pause for stuff lagging, ping, Hi Rez computers not working, etc.

Honestly, they deserved to troll here. How do you not restart the match after a DC on HIREZ'S END??? Completely insane to me.
