Days like this should make you feel good about yourself all the way to the core. I know it's about the cow and not you, and don't get me wrong I am super glad miss 182 is doing so well. But you, your team, and the farmers should all take pride that without you 182 couldn't have done that on her own.

@@katemcalear8591 I think sometimes they do it to make sure they can only take fairly small steps as that can be better for weight distribution. It's often done with other animals as a sort of physio if they have defects. I've seen it on cats and dogs with medical issues before. Could well be something completely different, but I've definitely heard of it for those reasons.

I am glad you left that bit in with Craig asking you a question. Far too often, mostly whilst we are young, we tend to be afraid of looking like we don't know anything...when the truth is we really don't know anything our whole lives. Asking, checking, using more than one mind is how we better ourselves as a people. Great moment for folks to see. Thanks for leaving it in.

When I first saw her wearing the chains I thought of the birds I’ve seen wearing something similar to hold their legs closer so they won’t splay. It’s really nice to see that cows benefit from the same treatment and that they receive treatment. 😃

This was a lovely follow up, well done she went from possibly not making it to living without pain, even though her that hoof will still cause problems for her down the track, as a person living with chronic pain, there is a difference for me in ordinary pain and extra hardcore pain, and you get used to the ordinary pain it’s the extra that makes it hard to feel positive and to fall into despair. Thanks for help her.
