I daily drive a 1980 C3 Corvette, ZZ4 crate engine with the 4 speed manual. I'm here watching this video because I found a sweet Cougar for sale and I'm thinking of trying to trade the Vette for it.
@@chevellecody4050 I like the car but I want something solid axle to be more friendly to making into a vicious street car. An old A body Barracuda with a 6.1 Hemi or a Cougar with a Coyote and a 6 speed would be sick. By the time I put a 500+ hp LS into the Vette I'm gonna need to be looking at another rear end upgrade.
Ken should run some old school dynomax super turbos, that would quiet it down but not loose hp. It’s an old school 90s trick a lot of guys here in Massachusetts would do when their cars were too loud and the police gave them trouble. It will still sound good bc of you hp and cam profile but it will be noticeably quieter. Won’t loose hp over the magnas either.
