Yeah, at 1:03:17 it really does sound like she’s saying “calm down, please”. Superb voice acting

I'm pretty sure it's real voice acting masked in some form or other:) For example, in multiple occassions and when it's appropriate, the male character says yolo:)

Would be better with legit voice acting, though.

@@davidsandrock7826 Voice acting on this wouldn't be a coherent decision for the devs. Also, meep meep sound is in accordance to the pixelar atmosphere of the game and they did meep meep well.

Adding on to some of these replies, she learns to accept it but not in a "I'm going to be miserable forever" kind of way, but just in validating her emotions instead of burying them

Same, I found the game from RTGame’s stream I started watching late, so I came to see this video to see what I missed. I then I watched the rest of the story. I cried at the end. First time in a LONG time.

Mr. Oshiro: But Ms. Madeline, you’ve barely enjoyed the myriad luxuries that our hotel has to offer! We can talk more once I finished cleaning. I’m very busy! (Yes… young people have no respect these days.) Madeline: …you’re welcome, sheesh.

Oh, nevermind you do have the scene. It's just after meeting Theo for you. I think I noticed the game using dialogue of characters if you dont talk to them the first time.

Ok. I love this game too, but I don’t think it needs a final final final *final* level.

The icon of that person is named in the game files as 'EX_PHONE'. She was calling, or called by, her ex.

I think it was her ex girlfriend since the person on the phone called her "sweetheart", and talked about how Madeline called her in the past. They also said that they haven't called Madeline in months, which leads me to believe the person was her ex. I'm guessing the green haired person is also probably a girl, since Madeline has a rainbow flag on her desk at 1:46:05, behind her computer.

If you want to, I would be happy to add them. (in case you are new to subtitling) Community captions were removed in 2020, so you might want to look up how to submit subtitles to someone elses video. All of the game's dialogue can also be found within the game files (also in Brazilian Portugese). This is a really long video and if you really want to subtitle all of it, I wish you good fortune on you journey. But also know that I won't be disappointed if you change your mind later on (So no pressure).

@@jubdub7949 Sadly, I reseached how to do this, and no results. All I found were outdated videos and subtitle softwares which require payment. If you know any way to subtitle this video, you can reply me

@@tear959 Yeah, I came to the same conclusion. 'Community captions' was an easy way to do this, but now it's a total mess. Me manually entering each line and duration into the timeline is the most viable way to make this work, but it would take a loooooong time to complete it like that. The file formats should be way more efficient, but I don't know anything about them or if they work at all. It just also seems sus to me that you also need to pay to use them. TLDR I don't have any simple way to solve this. If you didn't already check the youtube support page for this, you might find something useful there.
